Villaseahouse Sidi Ifni

Beach villa with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and private pool in Sidi Ifni, Morocco

From £1,610 per week

Luxury seafront villa with private pool, south of Agadir.

Overview

Villa 'Seahouse' sits on a cliff with views for 50km along the coast. The architect has designed a huge triple-height living space, playing with light and water. There is an intriguing open staircase, a bridge spanning the central area and a hidden minstrels' gallery. Outside we have a large terrace with private pool (16m) and on the top floor our sundeck terrace. Loads of space for 12 guests.
At Villaseahouse Sidi Ifni prices quoted are for 6 guests. Ask for a quote for your group size. You will always have sole-use of the villa.

The furnishings are comfortable and the villa very well equipped. There is a huge net suspended over the salon, perfect for lounging - it feels just like being at sea! This central area has several large paintings and is used at times as an exhibition space. All 6 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms + access to private balconies. Something rare - our terraces are not overlooked so you have complete privacy when swimming and sunbathing. All together... it's another world.

The main suite (King-sized bed) is 65m2 with a large balcony plus kitchenette.
A twin-bedded room (banquettes) has direct access to the pool - perfect for kids
A double-bedded room also opens on the pool.
The south suite - 40 m2, also has King-sized bed and private balcony.
Terrace bedroom has a double bed with direct terrace access
South twin room has 2 single beds and private terrace
Don't forget all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms!

The villa is just 10 minutes walk to the centre of Sidi Ifni - a small, safe and friendly Berber town where you have daily fresh food and fish markets as well as shops, restaurants and bars. It is very safe and peaceful; the Rough Guide calls it "the art-deco gem of the Sahara."

We work to make sure you enjoy your vacation - our driver will meet you at Agadir airport for the 2-hour drive south. Youssef, our manager, comes daily to check everything is OK and maintain the pool - he is also on-call if you need him. Fatima, our maid, comes each morning. She can also prepare an evening meal (extra charges apply.) This all makes it the perfect place to unwind from a busy life - the sound of the ocean is the main agenda!

6 of us stayed in Villa Seahouse in October 2025. Peter was very helpful in advance in organising a taxi from Agadir, and we were met at the property by Youssef who showed us around the villa and was on hand throughout the holiday to answer queries and arrange anything we needed. The villa is beautifully designed to allow each room to have some outside space and fantastic views over the Atlantic, we felt very much at home. The house was very light and airy, and suited us perfectly, it had everything we would want or expect. Sidi Ifni "centre" was about a 10 minute walk away and we ate out most nights either at the restaurants next to the fish market, or at Nomad, which came recommended. We walked to Legzira beach one day, which was beautiful and the walk was an adventure, but another time we would just get the taxi there, but I would recommend the beach there to anyone. We highly recommend the villa and are already thinking of returning next year. Show your response

Peter's house is a real work of art. The photos in the ad were impressive, but when we stood in the foyer, our jaws really dropped. The house is built open in the middle over three floors – the rooms are all around, which creates a great, open atmosphere. You can meet and talk at any time – whether from the hammock, from the sofa or from the pool – and still have enough places to retreat to. There were only six of us there and we definitely had too much space. With twelve people, the house is perfectly occupied: there are more than enough places to linger, each room has a sea view and a private bathroom. Our highlights: the large fishing net as a hammock – beautiful and super comfortable, even for two. The balconies with sea views, from which you can see the beach break. And of course the pool, accessible directly from the living room – simply fantastic. Youssef was always available and helped us with everything, even our boarding passes

Sidi Ifni in August was relatively cool around 26 - with very few tourists which we loved. The sound of the sea and the spectacular setting of the house made it a magical stay. It’s a stylish property, beautifully designed for a light cool and well ventilated living space. The lack of a big supermarket was a little daunting at first but the locals are so friendly that it was easy to adapt to a more personal style of shopping. We loved Peter’s house - it’s an amazing space and the highlight of our Morocco trip.

Quite simply an amazing place; easily one of the best if not the best AirBnb we have stayed in. Brilliant and innovative design with an outstanding view of the beach and the sea. Really recommend it. Town is easily walkable, restaurants good, market wonderful and sea inviting

The ocean house is a true marvel! We spent five days there and could not wish for anything to improve. Peter and Youssef, the housekeeper, were excellent hosts and very helpful with any quest. To be recommended very warmly.

Myself and husband, along with daughter and her boyfriend stayed at this idyllic villa in April / May. Unfortunately we only had a week - we could have stayed for months! The villa is spectacular. It is bright, spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The photographs do not do it justice. I doubt we will ever find another place that matches this one. The villa is cleaned daily and the villa manager also visits daily to ensure everything is OK. He is also able to give good advice on possible visits and can arrange taxis for same. We were somewhat lazy - I think most would be when you have such a wonderful place to stay - but did visit the Moroccan equivalent of Durdle Door (Legzira) which is perhaps superior to our Dorset example as there are four arches here! We had an enjoyable walk along the quiet beach (though I guess it will be busier at the height of the season), followed by a lovely fish lunch at one of the the little restaurants right on the beach. We didn't take advantage of having a meal cooked for us in the villa as we were happy doing almost nightly barbecues on the patio using fish, meat and vegetables from the local market just a 15 minute walk away. There is also a well stocked supermarket and patisserie which is a 10 minute walk. (Husband used the bicycle from the garage a couple of times). The town of Sidi Ifni had a few tourists but remains unspoilt and untainted. We had a couple of lunches here - the Gran Canaria had great food with great service. There is one or more of the villa's terraces which gets the sun at some point of the day though we found in April / May that the sun didn't appear until after midday. The pool then gives welcome relief from the heat - a bit chilly initially! The transfer is a long one - over two hours - but worth it - and Peter's driver Bashir is extremely pleasant and accommodating enabling a jewellery shopping trip for my daughter in Tafroute (recommended) on the return journey. (Cost of transfer £45 each way). If you want luxurious peace and relaxation in a quiet and unspoilt part of Morocco along with the feel and experience of a totally different culture, then this is the place.

A truly amazing property, set in a wonderful location overlooking the sea! The space inside the property was phenomenal, with sea views from nearly every window! My husband and I occupied the Master Suite, with our teenage daughter taking the second suite. Both rooms were extremely spacious and each had their own terrace. Each night we went to sleep listening to the sound of the sea and awoke to it every morning! The pool was lovely - with a constant depth enabling one to stand as well as swim, and although it felt cold initially, once in it was a delight! We swam every day. The temperatures were in the mid 20's I'd say, and due to the constant breeze from the sea it never felt unbearably hot. Most times the sun didn't really make an appearance through the cloud until around lunch time but even so it was still pleasantly warm. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery/cutlery and had some basic spices, oils and other cupboard items too. There was even a dishwasher! There were books galore, dvd's, board games, a tv, a dvd player and a stereo system with Ipod docking station so no excuse for being board if the pool and beach wasn't enticing enough! Peter was very helpful and communicated fully with us before our trip, giving us plenty of information and tips to prepare us for our stay, and he provided further information once at the Villa. We were even given a phone number for the House Manager who was on call 24/7 should we need anything - who was very helpful throughout our stay and arranged several restaurant reservations for us, as well as arranging for a meal to be cooked at the villa (which I would recommend to anyone). We would definitely advise a trip to neighbouring Legzira (about 8km) to see the arches and visit one of the restaurants on the beach and if you do go don't forget to check out the little gift shop too as we bought some wonderful souveniers from here at very reasonable prices! The fish market in Ifni is a great place to grab some fresh fish to take back to the villa and BBQ, and the souk on the Sunday in the old airfield is fantastic for fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and spices as well as jewelery, fabrics and other stalls which are not too dissimilar to the typical UK car boot sales!! The supermarket was pretty good for basic supplies such as milk, cheese, eggs, soft drinks, juices, crisps, chocolate, toileteries etc. and the boulangerie next door sold fresh bread and cakes (although don't be shocked to see masses of wasps in the place, like we first were!!). You can also pick up fresh bread daily from numerous stalls on the sides of the road. Some great wine can be purchased from the bar at the Belle Vue Hotel and if you eat at the Belle Vue you can also order wine with your meal - unlike a lot of the other restaurants where they do not serve alcohol. So, would we return to Sidi Ifni? Only if we could stay again at Dar Bhar!!

It is really a place to relax.. if you need a break from your busy life

Amazing house and welcoming town Peter, the owner, first imagined, then created, this dream house overlooking the beaches of Sidi Ifni - and we were delighted to have a chance to inhabit it for a week. It is rare that you can occupy a work of art, which this house most certainly is, while also being a haven. We left it only as the mood moved us, sampling the understated charms of Sidi Ifni with its friendly, laid-back inhabitants. Sidi Ifni is a welcoming fishing town with a colourful evening market and relaxed places to eat. We really enjoyed the slower pace and welcoming locals. The beach house, located 10 mins walk from the centre of town is stunning. It is spacious and grand, yet very comfortable and cosy. It is the perfect place to just relax and un-wind. We had plans to visit the local area but ended up chilling out in the house and pool most of the time. A five mins walk down to a long beach allows morning runs and stunning views. You will be well looked after by its owner.

This was the 'Piece de resistance' of our best holiday so far, which started and ended in Marrakech. I cannot praise this quiet Irishman enough he was brilliant and I feel very honoured to say I have stayed in his wonderful home. Thank you Peter! He introduced us to his local friends and gave us 'The grand tour' too, stopping for drinks at the local cafe in Sidi Ifni and talking to his friends in the local shops especially a very friendly helpful guy called Noureddine Id Bouja who's family own Superette Sidi Ifni where we bought our supplies. (We have been friends ever since our visit and talk regularly on Facebook. ha ha!) Our time in Sidi Ifni was perfected by the fact that absolutely everything was arranged for us, cook, chauffeur, travel guide and all the help and support we needed without interference. Thanks again to Peter.

In Sidi Ifni, this villa is pretty much one of a kind. Most rentals will be in older properties in town (and many of them are fine too) or a modern apartment, but this is a fantastically modern, boldly designed villa, perched right at the top of a cliff, overlooking the sea and with its own pool. Towering ceilings inside make for a really immense living space. The trade-off is that it is a little way out of the town centre - although still perfectly walkable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here - especially as 21C and sunny made a pleasant change from January in the UK!

Hello, I'm Peter and I moved from London to south Morocco for all-year sun. Sidi Ifni is a magical place built in the Spanish art-deco style right on the edge of the Sahara. It's easy to spend a lot of time birdwatching, fishing and walking... It's called "the great escape!"
