The Luxury and Comfort enjoying Chapala as you deserve! One of the few listed Properties in the area with heated pool, jacuzzi, barbecue grill area and a very green and natural Patio.

Overview

Chapala in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, a small town on the shore of the lagoon of Chapala surrounded by mountains where you can practice numerous recreational and eco-tourism activities both in the lake and at the surrounding mountains.

The perfect weather!

The Riviera of Chapala whole area has about the same latitude as Puerto Vallarta or the Western Sahara, so if it were at sea level and all other factors being equal, it would be about as hot. But Chapala / Ajijic is not at sea level—it’s located in the Mexican Highlands at about a mile elevation (the same as Denver), which lowers the temperature. In addition to this, Chapala / Ajijic is on Lake Chapala (the largest lake in Mexico), which moderates the temperatures even further. It’s virtually never too hot or too cold in the Riviera of Chapala area, with average highs in the 70s and sometimes 80s and lows in the 50s. Even Goldilocks would approve.

What to do in Chapala and places of interest: folk town nightlife, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (roughly 20 miles from downtown Chapala), parks, and the city colorful center.

The weather and geography in the Riviera of Chapala combine in just the right proportions to give Chapala / Ajijic a lush, tropical feel and vegetation, but without the oppressive heat that normally accompanies such places. While in the dry season the hills are mostly brown, in the rainy season, they spring to life, glistening and with the aroma of fresh rain in the jungle. You can hike all year round in the Ajijic area.

Does all this make you hungry? Feel like Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, American or Mexican food? No problem! Visit one of the dozens upon dozens of fun and varied restaurants in the area for about $6 for a full meal. Buen provecho! (Roughly, a salutation used in Mexico to enjoy your meal, like “bon appetit,” and which easier to do at $6 per person.)

You will love my place due to the outdoor areas (pool, jacuzzi and terrace), the neighborhood, the comfort of the bed, and the light. My accommodation is good for couples, adventurers, business travelers, families (with children), large groups, and pets (in the yard).

Cheers! and hope to see you soon!

I got to frequent Chapala and its surroundings when my parents Choose the Riviera of Chapala as a retirement destination. They settled there Gradually, by first renting and getting to know the City's / Town different areas, for the first 4 years they rented a total of 3 different places on the Chapala / Ajijic area of the Beautiful Riviera of Chapala. That was more than enough to get them 100% convinced that it was the perfect place for them to Retire! So they Bought a property (still their house) and a decent lot right beside it, which now we turned into "Estancia Ananda" little but very comfortable and cozy 2 Bungalow Villa. In very short that is our story! And how we got into "House Sharing" and Renting properties. Me my self i also love to travel and get around so i my self have become a frequent user of sites just like this to get around! Cheers!
