IL Canto Degli Uccelli

A great apartment in the lovely town of Roccamorice in the Majella national park. We stayed for the Easter holidays when the nature all around was blooming and full of life and you can easily see why the place is called Song of the Birds in Italian. The apartment is in a quiet part of the town, with 2 bedrooms, private parking and access to a garden. Everything was spotless clean and the place has a nice atmosphere even with a little fire stove for when the nights (or mornings) are still chilly. Then , when the sun was out, we could enjoy a coffee on the apartment’s terrace with a view over the mountains. The owners live in the adjacent house and had been very friendly and helpful and we especially appreciated all the tips they prepared for where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc. The owner is also a photographer and as a lovely touch inside the apartment you’ll find an aerial photo of the town which gives you an immediate perspective into your surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it as a great place for excursions into the Majella national park and the Abruzzo region

Very nice apartment, spacious, comfortable, equipped with everything (including washing machine and dishwasher); nice garden available to guests. The area is quiet and peaceful, just outside the village of Roccamorice. Host Enzo is kind, discreet and always available for every need. Great location. a few minutes drive away there are the celestial heres, the mountain of Blockhaus and several delightful villages. It is also a good starting point for longer trips: within an hour there are e.g. Sulmona, Pescara, the coast of Trabocchi. Rome is 2 hours driving.

The house is very large, clean, surrounded by a quiet garden and equipped with all comforts. Breakfast items available. There were 4 of us and we arrived along the "Spirit Trail". Being the expected arrival 5 km from there, they picked us up by car and made themselves available to accompany us to dinner in the city center, which is 1.5 km from the house. Nice place, wonderful mountains.

Our stay at“ Il Canto degli Uccelli ”was above all expectations. The room was very comfortable, spotless and tidy. The kitchen and living room are well equipped with every comfort. Being a mountain house we appreciated the heating which made our stay comfortable. Comfortable and clean bathroom. The owners, Enzo and Roberta, are very kind and welcoming people. Truly all aimed at making the guest feel welcomed and cared for.

Well-kept apartment, equipped with every comfort. Excellent cleaning. Friendly and helpful owners. We chose this solution because it is close to the "Salle bridge" for bungee jumping. Great location. We highly recommend this country house.
