Small charming characteristic towns, open markets and local festivals in the nearby area are ideal for day trips to explore. And in the evenings, the beach cafes and the old town of Pescara Porto transform themselves into vibrant night spots. Or if you like you can even catch a bus, train or drive on the “Auto Strada” to Rome for a day trip which takes only around 2 hours to get there!

The mountain range also known as "La Bella Dormentata" (The Sleeping Beauty) is 40 mins away and can be seen from the villa and Abruzzos extensive park system includes natural beauty akin to national parks in the western United States. Within Abruzzos parks lie some of Italys most beautiful ancient hill towns rivaling those of Tuscany and Umbria.

Winter Sports

The region has 15 ski resorts with 368 km of runs in 172 different ski tracks, all within a drive away. The most popular resorts are Roccaraso, Campo Felice, Campo Imperatore. Located on the highest altitudes of the Apennines, these ski areas are at heights nearly comparable to many resorts in the Alps. Because of their proximity to the Adriatic and winter precipitation patterns, they often have more snow than the Alps. Abruzzo also is popular for cross country skiing, especially on the high plain of Campo Imperatore in the Gran Sasso as well as the Piana Grande in the Majella.

Let us know if you have any other questions and we will be more than happy to help you have a great experience at Villa Adriatica.

Our stay was just perfect for my family, there were 7 of us and my 7 month old grandson. We had the time of our lives and Daniela (owner) was so amazing to deal with from the very beginning to the end of vacation... so accommodating with all details! A beautiful gift basket was there to welcome us too... I highly recommend this beautiful villa!!!

Villa Adriatica is a wonderful place to stay. The photos are accurate. The home is palatial. There were 5 of us staying there - three singles and one couple. We each had our own private space, which was so nice, and there was plenty of room for us to hang out, on the terrace, in the living room, or at one of the many tables. I loved the views. In the morning, the sun rises over the Adriatic between the hills. In the evening you can catch the sunset in the other direction. You can see the sea, Montesilvano Colle and a church on a hill and there are views of Gran Sasso and La Majella. Fresh sea breezes, views of medieval hilltowns, sunrises and sunsets, what more could you ask?

The location was perfect for us. We became familiar with Montesilvano and it was a short drive down the hill to via Vestina, where we found great restaurants, a gelateria, a supermarket and a farmacy. It is also close to the autostrada, and not far from the beach in Montesilvano and the Tuesday market.

We were there for 2 weeks and I enjoyed every moment.

Our GPS got a little confused so we had some interesting rides through olive groves during our first few days, but after we learned our way around, driving up the hill to Montesilvano Colle or driving down to the town of Montesilvano became very easy.

Daniela was wonderful. She answered even the dumbest questions and got back to me immediately on every e-mail (unlike our host in Rome).

I cannot recommend Villa Adriatica enough. I miss waking up to my coffee on the terrace with the sunrise.

We were thrilled with the villa. We were greeted with a beautiful basket of goods and a card on our arrival. The instructions for collecting the keys were great and if we had any problems we could call or email.
The villa was in a gorgeous location with amazing views over Pescara and the mountains. The sunsets from the terrace were spectacular. There were a couple of nearby restaurants and shops weren’t far away.
It was lovely to have ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom and the house was spacious and well furnished. We all decided that we would return to the villa in a heartbeat and would thoroughly recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time at the villa, we stayed 5 days in September with a group of 8 people and it was spacious, great for cooking and dining al fresco on the amazing terrace with views of Abruzzo and the Adriatic. The host was responsive, helpful and even left a welcome basket for us. I’m already wondering when we can go back :)

The welcoming was very warm and nice. We had an amazing stay. The villa was perfect for 11 people. The location was great and private.
There was a good communication with the owner from the booking time till we checked out.

Breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and old town. The unique style of the villa sitting on top of its own hill give it a 360 degree views all around. Huge grounds for kids to play with private gate closed, all around terraces and unique architecture of the villa made our trip a memorable experience. Every room had its air conditioning and a private full bathroom in each room made it very comfy for everyone. A definite return and highly recommend

This house is a dream vacation! This house was a dream. Absolutely gorgeous. Immaculately clean and incredible attention to detail. Huge bedrooms and great bathrooms. The out door space is like a dream, just gorgeous views. There was a beautiful welcome basket when we arrived. We had excellent communication with the owner. This was truly an incredible house and experience. The beaches were gorgeous and the food was amazing. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
