3 Bedroom Detached Trullo, Italy

Trullo Olivia has been carefully restored to a very high standard and is situated in Capo di Gallo, meaning head of a rooster, on a hilltop a few kilometres from Alberobello. It is in a very peaceful location with beautiful uninterrupted views along the Itria Valley.
The trullo sits in its own grounds of around one acre with olive, almond, cherry and fig trees. Outside is a large private stone terrace and tiled gazebo with outdoor table and chairs.
Trullo Olivia PoolThe 50 sq.m. private infinity pool slopes from 1.2m to 3m with a diving board at the deep end. There is underwater lighting for midnight swims. There is an outdoor shower. There is a barbeque area underneath an arbour with a large barbeque built into a stone wall, sink and stone preparation area. Six sun loungers are provided along with occasional tables and two hammocks.
The main trullo cone forms the lounge and has comfortable leather seating for six, a flat screen LCD TV, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and ipod docking station.
Off of the lounge is the dining alcove with seating for six at the table and a dresser built into an arch in the stone wall.
Beyond the dining room is the kitchen which is fully equipped to a high standard incorporating washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, hob and stone worktops.
Double doors open into the gazebo, patio and swimming pool.

The trullo has been equipped to a very high standard with hand painted china, good quality cutlery, knives, glassware, kitchenware and linen. There is an excellent central heating system for cooler months and hot water on demand. A travel cot and high chair are available. All doors and windows have wrought iron grills and mesh screening to allow windows to be left open but keep insects out.

Trullo Serena
Trullo Serena is a completely renovated ancient trullo. It is situated in Capo di Gallo, next to Trullo Olivia, on a hilltop a few kilometres from Alberobello with wonderful far reaching views across the Itria Valley. It has been decorated to take advantage of the original features of a trullo with a bright and cheery feel.
The trullo sits in its own grounds of around half an acre with olive, fig, almond and cherry trees.
Trullo Serena PoolOutside there is a 50 sq.m. private swimming pool which has wide steps to the shallow end & a diving board at the deep end. There is also a large terrace with bbq built into a stone wall & excellent preparation area. There are 2 pergolas with outdoor table & chairs, sunloungers and occasional tables. A beautiful old olive tree dominates the garden.
The lounge is in the main cone of the trullo and includes an alcove with sitting area with an open fireplace. There is comfortable leather furniture, occasional chairs and a TV, DVD, CD player and ipod docking station.
The dining area is in an alcove off of the lounge with seating for six at the table.
The unique kitchen has been created in a small cone and is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob and stone worktops. The washing machine is housed in the outdoor store room.
A double room with king size bed, with an excellent shower room with heated towel rods. It has a patio door to the pergola and pool.

Between bedrooms two and three is another excellent shower room also equipped with heated towel rods.
Trullo Serena is fully equipped to a high standard with all the amenities needed for an enjoyable visit, which includes an efficient heating system for the hot water and central heating throughout the trullo.

Trullo Rosa
Trullo Rosa is a few miles south of Alberobello set on a hillside in its own grounds of 2 acres with olive, almond, fig and walnut trees. Outside there is a large stone paved terrace and an original pizza oven built into the side of the trullo (great fun for all), there is also a purpose built barbecue area with a large gazebo to give protection from the sun, and plenty of outdoor furniture.
New for 2009 a 6 person heated spa bath on the terrace adjacent to the swimming pool.
A feature of Trullo Rosa is the large kidney shaped swimming pool which is between 1 and 2.4 metres deep and around 72 sq. metres in surface area. The pool is finished with mosaic tiles and natural stone edging. There is a diving board and underwater lighting for midnight swims plus a fabulous 6 person spa! All bath towels, pool towels and beach towels are provided and are changed weekly as is bed linen.
Within the original part of the Trullo is the lounge with its domed ceiling and comfortable settees, you can watch TV (including Italian satellite), view DVDs or listen to music on the CD player. The dining area, which is set in an alcove off of the lounge, is big enough for family dining. Following through the dining room leads you to the new part of the Trullo, where you will find the kitchen, two of the three bedrooms and two shower rooms (one being en-suite).
The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven & hob and a door leading out to the terrace & pool area. A washing machine is available in the outdoor store.
There is one twin room in the original part of the Trullo and two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, in the extension. Both have patio doors which lead out to the terrace and pool. Cots can also be provided if required.
