Villa Radiosa In Sicily

We had a lovely week at Villa Radiosa. Very well equipped, great for children. The outdoor space is really great. Carmelina is very responsive. We had problems with the electricity due to the air con, but she came and sorted it out straight away. The pool was fantastic and the villa was really comfortable and spacious. Thank you very much.

La villa e spaziosa e accogliente, la piscina un angolo dove divertirsi e rilassarsi, le camere spaziose e pulite. Grazie ancora per la bellissima esperienza, che ci ha permesso di passare dei momenti felici con la nostra famiglia.

Thank you. We had a lovely time, the host has been really responsive. We enjoyed our stay here, the house is spacious with lovely flooring, the pool is well appointed and in the heat the fans and air conditioning were very helpful! The host was super friendly and helpful and gave some great recommendations for places to eat.

As a party of 10 we recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Radiosa. We chose the villa as a base as it is 15 mins drive away from the Valley of the temples, 25 mins away from several beaches and 5 mins away from a supermarket - use of a car is essential. The owner, Carmelina, was only a phone call away and when we had a few issues was quick to arrive and resolve them. We arrived at the villa at 00:30 due to flight changes, Carmelina was there to meet us and TBH we were too tired to check for basics like toilet roll which was missing from most of the toilets, as was some of the complimentary items mentioned on the web site. – well worth thinking about what you will need for self catering before shopping. In the days before starting our holiday Carmelina provided updates to make our stay trouble free. Having access to someone who spoke English made life easy when considering places to visit and comparing options like water parks and beaches. The villa is very private but has amenities like Lidl and a rubbish dump a short 5-minute drive away in Favara itself. There is ample parking within the villa compound, the access road is narrow and not developed. The pool is safely enclosed and not too deep (it is effectively separated into 2 with a toddler friendly end), with children ranging in ages from 5 to 10 we used it every day. The views from the villa are awesome and representative of Sicily. We made use of all 5 bedrooms, all of them quite spacious with air conditioning. In the kitchen we found all we needed to prepare meals (dishes, glasses, pan, silverware, etc), everything was tidy and ready to use. There are plastic bins to sort rubbish into before taking to the local tip (which you will need to do), during our stay the tip closed before 09:00 and was not accessible on Friday as local market stalls blocked the road. The patio and the pool area are really nice, with a BBQ ready to go. Overall, great hosts, great villa, great location

Villa was awesome! 5 rooms, all of them with a lot of space, perfect for a large group or the whole family. Three bathrooms, they were clean and a pretty large Jacuzzi. The kitchen is quite large, very well illuminated and we found all we needed to prepare meals (dishes, glasses, pan, silverware, etc), everything was tidy and ready to use. The living room is also very spacious and comfortable. The patio and the pool area are really nice, there is plenty of shade and chairs, the pool can be used at any time because lightening is very good, it is not very deep, so it is ideal for children. They have a lot of olive trees around the house, which makes the house looks fantastic. The location is great because is 15 mins away from the Valley of the temples, 25 mins away from San Leone beach and 5 mins away from several supermarkets, which is very convenient. The villa has also a lot of space to park several cars if needed. The best of the villa are the owners, Carmelina and Salvatore are always ready to help and suggest places to go, eat or visit. They and their children made us feel welcome from minute one. Very charm people. I would recommend this villa to any friend or relative and, if I have the chance to come back to Agrigento, this will be my first choice.

Villa Radiosa, Favara Durante un recente soggiorno in Sicilia, abbiamo avuto il piacere di alloggiare a Villa Radiosa, una splendida dimora a Favara, a pochi minuti da Agrigento. Fin dal primo momento ci ha colpito per la sua atmosfera calda e accogliente, esaltata da interni spaziosi e arredati in stile classico, con dettagli raffinati e un’eleganza senza tempo. All’esterno, la veranda è un vero punto forte: un angolo rilassante dove cucinare, pranzare o semplicemente godersi il silenzio. È dotata di una cucina esterna completamente attrezzata e di un barbecue a gas, ideali per momenti conviviali. La zona piscina, accanto alla veranda, aggiunge un tocco di puro relax: perfetta per rinfrescarsi e godersi il sole in completa privacy. La posizione della villa è strategica: immersa nella quiete, ma vicina ad alcune delle meraviglie più iconiche della Sicilia sud-occidentale, come la maestosa Valle dei Templi, la scenografica Scala dei Turchi e la vivace spiaggia di San Leone. Inoltre, con un’auto è facilissimo raggiungere supermercati ben forniti e trovare ottimi ristoranti e trattorie locali a Favara, dove si mangia davvero bene e si respira la vera ospitalità siciliana. L’accoglienza è stata impeccabile: discreta, cordiale e sempre disponibile. In sintesi, Villa Radiosa è la scelta perfetta per chi desidera vivere un soggiorno autentico in Sicilia, tra comfort, eleganza e paesaggi da sogno. Un luogo dove sentirsi rigenerati, un’esperienza da replicare.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Radiosa. A beautiful villa in the Sicilian countryside. Carmelina was a great host both before and during the trip. Lots to do locally and perfect outside area. thank you!

5Erw.3 Kinder(11,12,15) und ein Hund. Haben vom 12.4 bis 23.4.25 Urlaub in dieser tollen Villa Radiosa Urlaub gemacht. Die Vermieter waren einfach nur Klasse. Sehr freundlich und immer zur Stelle. Das Haus war groß und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir konnten jede Minute genießen. Langeweile gab es hier nicht. 2 km konnte man alles besorgen,was man brauchte. Besser geht es nicht. Am strand waren wir in 15 min. Das Haus ist einfach nur zum weiter empfehlen. Wir hatten Urlaub von Anfang an. Für Familien mit Kindern hervorragend geeignet. We have just returned home in central London after 2 wonderful weeks spent at Villa Radiosa. The villa itself is very spacious with lots of options for eating alfresco or entertaining a large family. It was very easy to be able to cook our own food indoors or outdoors and our child loved the large trampoline, the pool and the fully equipped playground. My husband and I got into the habit of enjoying a glass of wine on our own in the evenings by the pool listening to the crickets and totally not missing the London buzz! While the pool was open and regularly cleaned/ maintained by the owners, the water at the end of Oct/ early Nov was colder than the sea. We did bring wetsuits and made the most of the pool (but we didn’t need them in the sea). I personally enjoyed a solitary evening swim in the pool, it became a very relaxing ritual which I now miss having returned home to shared pools. Regarding the location of the villa, it was very easy to find and it is in a great spot. While it is peaceful, it’s also very easy to get to shops and also to head out of town. We explored many Sicilian towns (including trips to Siracusa and Noto) so we found it very easy to return to the villa thereafter given its position near Agrigento. The owners was a pleasure to deal with. We had a few queries, nothing that would make us reconsider a return to the villa, and they came to visit straight away and resolved the matter fully. Couldn’t have hoped for better people to handle the communication etc. Upon returning home, we are reminiscing about the many memories we built at Villa Radiosa and we would unhesitantly return on another occasion. We very strongly urge you not to waste time looking for another place to rent for your holiday. I certainly wish I hadn’t spent any more time once I first came across this gem!

The location is ideal, with amenities like Lidl, conad and Md just a short 5-minute drive away, which made our stay even more convenient. The villa itself is well-maintained, and the pool is safely enclosed, making it perfect for families with children or pets. The hospitality was top-notch, with the hosts going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, Villa Radiosa is the perfect retreat for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!. The Villa also has private parking with a lockable gate. I will be back for sure we had a lovely time
