Overview

Villa Christina is located in a fabulous position on the waterfront at Sivota bay. Situated only 10 metres from the beach and set in spacious grounds with its own swimming pool, the property is only a few minutes walk away from Sivota marina making it an ideal location for those combining a villa and sailing holiday.

Villa Christina is a spacious property that has been completed to meticulous standards. There is a large open plan living room with comfortable sofas and armchairs set out around the fireplace, an elegant dining area and very well equipped kitchen including dishwasher. There is central heating and air-conditioning throughout and flat-screened TV.

There are four bedrooms – 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have epavlis eco mattresses with natural metal-free materials. There is an excellent ‘spa’ bathroom with hydro-massage.

The villa is beautifully decorated throughout in a modern, elegant style that fits well with the architect’s use of natural materials and local stone to blend in with the beauty of the surrounding nature of velvet-green hillsides densely covered with majestic cypress trees that plunge into the tranquil bay of Sivota.

The villa has a large garden including lawn that is on various terraced levels with stone walls and stone steps. The swimming pool is large (40sqm) and is beautifully designed with teak loungers and umbrellas set out on its terrace, as well as a handy outdoor shower. From the pool and large outdoor dining area, you can spend hours gazing at the limpid bay of Sivota and the yachts as they glide past.

Sivota village, with its selection of traditional shops, tavernas, bars and cafes is only a 5 minute walk away. A hired boat can be moored in Sivota Bay, which is a natural harbour.

This is a property with everything: beach, private pool, close to shops and restaurants, beauty of surroundings, elegance and comfort.

This is an exceptional property. The location is perfect fantastic views over the bay and minutes stroll from an assortment of excellent tavernas. We have visited Greece many times, but have never stayed in the same place twice. We would return to this villa without hesitation. If I win the lottery, Ill be putting in an offer to buy it!

Amazing villa with stunning view of Sivota We were two families of 4 staying at villa Christina in August 2019. Arodo villas have been designed superbly so that the two villas are separate and private. The view from the terrace and pool is spectacular. We all enjoyed watching the yachts come and go. Bars and restaurants were within a few minutes walk as is a beach for swimming. The villa is very well equipped and very comfortable and we were left a welcome pack of essentials on arrival. A perfect villa for a family holiday. We hope to return! 08/25/2019 at 9:49 AM

Family Stay Our second time at the beautiful Villa Christina. It has everything you need and more. Our first stay travelling with family including a toddler - bed and bedding provided for her. The villa managers Marino and Beate are very welcoming and the waiting grocery pack is a great touch. Perfect location, a varied choice of local amenities - small beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and all within easy walking distance. There is a well stocked supermarket 5 minutes drive on the road between Sivota and Vassiliki with a good range of baby products to pick up nappies etc. Our fourth time in Sivota; it is so relaxing here we can’t wait to return! 05/19/2019 at 8:24 AM

Wonderful Villa Christina We were a party of four ladies.. This was one of the best holidays we have had. We drove by car from the airport and found the directions given very easy to follow to Sivota. We arrived late so it was dark and found it a little tricky to locate the villa at first as we could not find the villa name . We were not let down when we entered Christina we found a welcome pack of wine, orange juice, water, bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, jam & fruit. Thank you Maria most welcome after our journey. The villa was beautiful we did not want for anything. The location and VIEW was amazing both day and night watching the boats come & go. Plenty of tavernas to choose from we ate at a different one each night and was not disappointed with any of them. We would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to friends. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. 05/21/2018 at 10:29 AM

ncredible villa in stunning surroundings This villa is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. You want for nothing in the bill with a lovely welcome pack with wine, bread, cheese, eggs, biscuits, tea and coffee and other lovely items. The vista from the villa whether in the pool looking over the infinity pool or from the balcony in the master bedroom, is ever changing as you watch boats come and go from the small harbour of all sizes from superyachts to small motorboats. As we sat every evening in the harbour restaurants you can see the villa and you can see people looking in envy wondering who could be staying in such an amazing villa in such an outstanding location. The villa stayed really cool in the day and during the night, each of the bedrooms had air con which made the temperature perfect. The pool was cleaned half way through the week and all the bedding and towels changed and the villa cleaned. We were told what time and day and were able to decide if we wanted to stay in or pop out whilst the work was being done. If I had one tip, it would be to keep the insect mesh doors closed at all times as the Mosquitos enjoyed early evening to come out. Make sure you take some repellant. This was not a problem however in any way. The mesh doors worked a treat. The gardens had lemon trees full of ripe lemons, olive trees filled with olives and herbs that filled the air at dusk. If you get the chance to visit this villa-then do so. The island, Sivota, the people and the villa will not disappoint and this holiday will be very hard to beat in the future. 07/30/2017 at 11:40 AM

Villa Penelope and Villa Christina Wow what amazing villas, my family and I have just returned from a two week stay , the first week we stayed in villa Penelope and the second at villa Christina. We booked direct with the owner Maria who was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with , she organised taxis to meet us at the airport on arrival and for our return, she also sent us lots of information about the Area. Once we arrived at villa Penelope there was a welcome pack, of food items all the essential things you need this was a lovely touch As it meant we did not have to rush straight out to the super market. This was left with a welcome note from Marino and Beatie who manage the villas on behalf of the owner .we met Marino a couple of times and he was a lovely guy and again very helpful. The villa was very clean . Linen change and cleaning was carried out once during our stay at each villa. The villas were furnished to a high spec. I could not think of one thing that it did not have that you would need. The villa was perfect with a lovely view and not overlooked by the villa next door. The location was amazing down steps that led to a small shingle beach just outside the property and a few minutes to all tavernas, Yanas family cafe and Stavros just off the pontoon were particularly good. Sivota is beautiful. There was also a small supermarket close by that had a good variety. Villa Penelope had a great size pool bigger than most Villas of the same size, both villas had good air conditioning which is a must . Then on to villa Christina. Wow what a fantastic villa very large, great views and lovely infinity pool . Both villas had plenty of storage and plenty hangers. Lovely high ceilings and again the decor was lovely, we loved the design of the villa with Everything as described, I can only say good things about the villas you will not be disappointed . We had a great time with wonderful memories . The Cuddihy Family :-) 07/08/2016 at 12:28 PM

A perfect place for relaxation We stayed at Villa Christina for 4 weeks and enjoyed every day. Everything was as described on the website. The villa was situated a few meters from a small beach with fresh and clear water. The pool at the villa was also really nice. In addition, we could walk for just a few minutes to get to one of the cosy restaurants in the village. We went there with two small children and the villa and the area was perfect for us since we didn't have to rent a car. We want to come back next year! 08/18/2015 at 5:50 PM

Wish I was the owner of such amazing property! Undoubtedtly, Villa Penelope was one of the most beautuful villas that we have ever been to. And we have very high expectations from the properties that we book. Its not easy to describe the feeling that the villa and its amazing location offer you. The architecture of the villa is great, for a familly of 4 it is very comfortable and ergonomic. The swimming pool is lovely with the perfect size for the whole family to play inside. And the location... Oh my god... I totally loved it... It is built at the end of the picturesque village of Sivota.. On your left you have the forest, and on your right you are completely isolated from the other Villa (which is at a lower level) by trees and plantation.. And the view is perfect, so calming and tranquil, looking down on the small marina... The fact that you have everything within reach by foot, just by going down the stone stair and walking towards the center, it is priceless, while at the same time you feel totally isolated and no one can see you, and you have all the privacy that you could need. I really was amazed by Villa Penelope. The amenities covered our needs, we enjoyed the BBQ outside, and overall we had a great stay that I wish would have lasted longer than a week. Thank you for the hospitality! 08/21/2014 at 2:03 PM

Bliss, style, sun , sea at the doorstep... As a party of six we arrived for our second week in Greece to stay in late September 2013... We had rented the larger Villa Christina... The house was exactly as viewed on the website but all the more stunning as you stand out over the pool and sea while soaking up the autumn heat... Sivota a fishing village is now from what we could see supported mainly by the yacht charter business so everything was open still. ..though very quite....which suited us...Great family run small restaurants and someone ate Calamari every day! Fantastic beaches and stunning views when out and about driving and exploring.... This was a really great location. All worked well for us and the space for six adults was great. All our contact with the owner and their managment team was prompt and great customer service. We will certainly recomend this property, many thanks. 11/25/2013 at 2:13 PM

Beautiful villa ..... Amazing location.... We have just returned from our second two week stay at the beautiful Villa Penelope. Our first holiday in the villa was in 2012 and we knew then that it was a very special villa in a very special village and one that would draw us back again and again. We first stayed in Syvota in a hillside villa in 2011 and although the villa was lovely, we didn't want to drive to and from the village in the evening and so we set out to find a suitable villa in the village - and we found it ..... The location is just perfect, private and quiet enough to offer a relaxing and peaceful stay but only a minutes walk to the Yacht Bar and the wonderful food at the Ionian Taverna. The villa is finished to a very high standard and the pool and terrace area is large - the pool being bigger than most pools we have experienced in similar sized villas. The bottom terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast while watching Syvota "wake up" or for enjoying a drink to cool off in the shade during the day. Syvota is a picturesque village with very friendly locals and there are lots of excellent tavernas and bars to enjoy whilst strolling around the quayside. There are two bars in particular that we love - both have wonderful romantic music to create the perfect ambiance for chilling - (you will easily find them on your first night there) .... Maria, the owner was really helpful and organised our taxi from the airport on both occasions - however, there is ample parking at the villa if you want to have a car to explore the Island ..... We love this villa and Syvota is a beautiful place, so put the two together and you have the ingredients for a truly fabulous holiday - you will not be disappointed if you stay in Villa Penelope and I am sure, like us, you will want to return for many years to come.... 07/18/2013 at 4:17 PM

Perfect Villa and location in Lefkas. This property with its unique location is probably one of the best in terms facilities, cleanliness, maintainance and overall attention to detail. We stayed in the owners smaller villa last year and was so impressed decided to bring our our family of 6 plus 6 month old baby out for the week. The view across the bay is beautiful, the management and accomodation excellent. Our ages range from 60 to 6mths, so the location itself was perfect to accomodate all tastes including many resturants for romantic meal, family meals, plus a couple of lively bars to accomodate our 20 year olds. We would recommend to families, groups of friends of all age groups 07/01/2013 at 3:51 PM

Fantastic holiday Villa Christina is absolutely stunning. It was exactly as described, extremely comfortable, very stylish, clean and beautifully maintained. The villa is set in an idyllic location overlooking the bay and the coastal village of Sivota, with it's several great restaurants offering freshly caught seafood and local Greek food at very reasonable prices. The villa location was very peaceful and just sitting watching the sailing boats come and go was a pleasure. We did not meet the owners but they arranged a taxi to meet us from the airport and once at the villa we met Marino (the property manager) who was very helpful and friendly. This is a great villa and location for adults and children, we have two girls aged 5 and 10 who also had a fantastic time. We spent a perfect week there and were very sad to leave and hope to return one day. 05/21/2013 at 6:26 PM

Didn't want to leave...... We stayed at Villa Christina May 23 -30 this year and had a wonderful time. We arrived very late as we were travelling a long way on our first day there and we had a bit of trouble finding our way in the dark, however we knew as soon as we opened the door that it was worth it. The villa is beautiful. and when we arrived we found a tray with everything we needed from a glass of wine to breakfast for the morning - such a nice welcome!! The pictures on the website were impressive but the villa in person was even better. We had plans to travel around the area and visit a few different islands however we found it very difficult to leave the villa. We enjoyed going to Vasiliki to get fresh bread from the bakery and meat from the local butcher shop - everything was so fresh and good and everyone was very friendly. The local farmers came around in trucks in the mornings and you could buy fresh vegetables from them. We visited the beaches on the west coast - amazing - and stopped at Panorama D'Athani for a wonderful lunch, the mousaka was perfect - the owner Thomas Robotis made us very welcome and the views - well - you just have to see them yourself. If you like lobster you have to go to the tavern in Sivota Bay - I apologize that I do not remember the name but it was the first tavern after the market and the first established in Sivota. When they say fresh they mean it - you net the lobster yourself!! Best lobster I have had. The rooms at the Villa were wonderful with high ceilings and everything was very modern and clean. Everything you needed was there. The caretakers were at the villa every couple of days to clean the pool or water the beautiful roses but we never heard them and only saw them if we were looking out at the view. The pool in a word was perfect and we spent a LOT of time there. It was so nice sitting there in the evenings and looking out at the sailboats in the harbour. I have no hesitation recommending Arodo Villas and would love to visit again - a week wasn't enough. Thanks for the wonderful holiday! 07/07/2010 at 2:54 AM

This really is an excellent villa. This really is an excellent villa. The view from the terrace and the swimmingpool is terrific. The two villas are not really close to each other, so you really have the privacy you need. We had a wonderful holiday in Lefkada! 10/20/2009 at 8:31 AM

Dream place Brand new villas (we were probably among first ten clients) with excellent concept (large common area, big open kitchen and separated rooms) allowing for a very confortable stay for two famillies. Biggest problem you face is whether you stay in the pool or walk 10 meters down to the sea... Sivota is a great place (we knew that before renting), totally protected from big tourist flow and with several great tavers within crawling distance from the house. While the second villa is within the same proprety, they are well separated (we barely new whether it was occupied or not). Clearly, a place we will be coming back to often. 09/03/2009 at 5:41 PM
