Description
Athena Villa has two fully air-conditioned floors with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a balcony, and the other with two single beds. There is one bathroom on the first floor and a WC on the ground floor. The ground floor also features a tastefully decorated comfortable living room furnished with Italian leather, with a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There’s free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Also, it has a fully equipped kitchen suitable for any meal preparation. Outdoors, you will find a private swimming pool and a deck with sunbeds and parasols for you to enjoy the Mediterranean sun and the fantastic sea view. Also, there’s a BBQ facility and a sitting area where you can enjoy a gathering with your friends or family. You will spend your vacation in complete privacy in the truly serene environment of southern Rhodes, and you will have easy access to all sorts of conveniences and sights, and beaches.

Aegean Blue Villas are located in southern Rhodes, very close to the villages of Kalathos and Lindos The location is pretty ideal to explore Greek beauty and nature. Kalathos Village is partly traditional and partly a small resort village that has many visitors. It offers one of the longest and cleanest beaches on the island and guests will find it within walking distance. Also, guests will find everything they need such as supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, restaurants, and car rentals. Guests should also visit Lindos which is less than a 10-minute drive away from the villas. Lindos Acropolis is the most extraordinary archaeological site of Rhodes and has the most idyllic beaches, such as Saint Paul’s beach. The airport of the island is found within a distance of a 50-minute drive. Last but not least, you should consider visiting the Medieval Town of Rhodes which is only a 50-minute drive away.

Great villa for a family of 5, private pool, plenty of room in the villa and excellent air conditioning units. 2 bedrooms with really nice beds. The fold down sofa bed wasn't great, previous occupants must have spilled food/drinks on this and the mattresses were badly stained. Mattress protectors would be a good idea. Hire car needed, villa up a hill and quite far from local amenities, as a result great privacy and quiet at night. Nearby villa has barking dogs but they weren't about at night. There was a problem with the drain in the bathroom and the outdoor shower but once reported fixed within 24 hours. Great communication via email with the owners, very helpful. Of note they kindly let us stay late on the final day at no extra charge(we had a very late flight). The villa was modern and very clean, kitchen area a good size, toaster would be a good thing to add. We travelled to the Mikri Poli Resort Hotel most days. My understanding is the owner of this villa also owns the Hotel ( a very nice 4 star hotel in Kolymbia). As part of the rental here we were given full use of the hotel and all inclusive meals /drinks. It was a 20 minute drive away but we ate there a lot. Really good selection of healthy food and great vegetarian options. We saved a fortune on meals on this holiday and had the luxury of avoiding too much self catering by travelling to the hotel. Also we used the pools and water park several times. There is also a tennis court and astro football pitch, used the pitch a few times in the evening for a kick about (3 boys all football mad). Fantastic holiday and great value for money especially with the bonus of using the Mikri Poli. As mentioned mattress protectors for sofa bed and a toaster, otherwise perfect villa! many thanks the Scott family
