Overview

Esperides is a charming 91 m2 country house, on a plot covered with olive and orange trees. It's the perfect place for people who love a quiet place in nature, which is near the seaside and the city of Athens. It is a newly renovated house. The interior design offers very good functionality and it is very good equipped. The house offers very good isolation from the outside temperature and it is fully air-conditioned.
Esperides provides important safety features, helping our guests to stay healthy against Covid-19. It is an independent property, situated at a less populated area. It is always being rented as a whole, regardless of the number of the guests. The house has individual entrance and the swimming pool is private, only for our guests.
We always provide deep cleaning of the whole house to welcome our guests. In addition to, we clean and disinfect carefully high-touch surfaces after each stay. In this category are tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces included.

The exterior design offers a beautiful garden and vegetable plot, garden furniture, shower, grill equipment and a small but lovely above earth pool. Although the house isn't situated in front of the sea, its location is very competitive, because it combines simultaneously easy access to the beach and the grocery and the public bus service. Our free transportation from and to the airport or the city center on the day of check-in and check out offers a benefit for the quests. The alarm system offers a safe stay for the quests. We offer, free of charge, bicycles for use of all our visitors. My wife and I are available during the renting period. We visit the house every two or three days, to clean the pool and to take care of the garden. Depends on the availability, we offer homemade cooked food, self-produced vegetables, a bottle of homemade wine, olive oil from our trees or eggs from our chicken. We are prompted to give the necessary information and we suggest activities or excursions. Marathon is the place in which took place the ancient battle between the Greeks and the Persians. Here, you can visit the Museum, the Tomb and the ruins of the ancient town of Rhamnus. The region, where the house situated, is flat with a large area of agricultural land between the sea and the mountain of Penteli. The location of the house offers easy access to the nearest beach by bicycle, cycling on a flat area (about 15 min for 2.2Km). Marathon beach is about 12km long, mostly sandy and deepens smoothly. In this way, it is ideal and safe for children. The seawater is clean and enjoyable, especially in the morning. Swimming at the beach is free of charge. Nevertheless, you can find beach bars, which offer sun lounges and umbrellas, pricing the refreshments or beverages you order. On the east side of the coast, about 10 km far from the house, located the beach named Schinias. This beautiful beach offers a combination of sea and pine forests. There is a great offer for water sports too. On the south side of the coast located the beach of Nea Makri. This beach is very beautiful conformed to the palm tree garden. Here, you can find many cafés, restaurants, taverns and music bars. Remarkable is the easy access to the public bus service. The bus stop is about 500 m away from Esperides. There is a daily bus service to Athens city center and return, every hour, from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm. Of course in Athens offers many famous places to visit and a lot of walk-in to feel the life of this city. If you have more time and a car, it is very interesting to visit the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion (Attica region), the ancient area of Delphi, the Rocks of Meteora or you can the ferry from Rafina Port to Andros Island and the ferry from Agia Marina Port to south Evia Island.

The place was perfect and sparkling clean. I wish all the hosts were like this. We will definitely visit them again.

The pool has a good added amenities with bluetooth speakers. You want it. Was at the airport waiting for us. The place was in top sharp. Private note Very good place to stay. Kids love the pool. Erica didn't want to leave in the morning. They enjoy the speakers playing there music. They pick oranges for the first thing. They had a very good time.

(April-2019) It's easy to overlook the smaller size for the modern renovations and so much that's offered in the space. Everyone is happy here - Fully stocked and supplied kitchen (to include fresh eggs and fruit from the yard). More toys / games than my kids have at home. Plenty of wifi & TV for the teens. Cozy sunroom with awesome views of yard. Washing machine & a fabulous shower. Owner very friendly, on site for check in and out. Local beach, small but acceptable, less than 10 minutes drive. Individual AC / heat in each room. I can only advise- DO NOT book this place as your 'camp' between day trips, and not leave any time at the house. You want to be disappointed !! This is not your regular 'rental apartment'. This is a HOME. You can find what you need in the kitchen to cook a meal. You can lay in bed (heated sheets in master bed!) & Watch a movie. You can truly feel relaxed here!
