Villa Irene Lindos; Lindos 10min, Beach 4min; Amazing Views 0min

Our family of 5 with 3 older daughters enjoyed a really great 8 days at the villa. We arrived to a nice welcome pack with some food and drinks which was very much appreciated. The villa was really nice inside with very modern bathrooms and good Aircon. Outside there was plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade and great views out to sea and along the coast. The pool was a big hit with our family and very refreshing in the heat of August. It was also very private and not overlooked. We enjoyed trips down into the village for supplies and also down to the beach for an early evening swim (never busy) and beach bar (Ostria) which we really liked for a drink or snack. The handy book in the lounge provides lots of other suggestion for places to go which we also used a couple of times for meals out and all were great. The owners were very helpful throughout our stay replying to any questions or issues we had really quickly. Overall, we had a great week and would very much recommend villa Irene to anyone who wants to be a good location in a great villa with quiet beaches nearby, but also within a short drive of the stunning Lindos and other areas.

Just had our third stay in Kalathos- second at Villa Irene. We are smitten. Well equipped, thoughtful items left as a welcome, responsive and very lovely people looking after the pool and property too. So well placed for exploring this beautiful island. Nowhere is far by car and the mountain roads and villages are less visited and feel special when you do. Favorite spots on this trip included evening views from Tsambika monastery, Monolithos, Plakia beach in Pefkos, exploring Lardos- look out for Greek night in the village, boat trip from Kalathos (Get Wet- Milos restaurant family business) and Kamiros- as well as multiple stops and strolls, and the odd freshly made omelette in the tiny villages. So close to Lindos it's easy to beat the crowds and be there for opening followed by breakfast and views from the lovely Ginger cafe. The only problem is the more you explore, the more you'll find, and you'll need to come back!

We stayed for 2 weeks in May 2025, the villa is so nice and has everything you need, the views are amazing we will certainly be returning, would highly recommend.

All I can say is WOW. The villa is spacious, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Overlooking a breathtaking scenery away from the thrum it is an idyl of Greek perfection. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5

We've stayed in Kalathos before and Villa Irene was another level- absolutely superb. Stunning location, really well equipped, clean, easy to get in on arrival, private, views to die for and easy to reach the island hot spots outside the busy times. Better to have a car, although it's also possible to conquer the hill and walk/run to the beach and amenities if you avoid the midday heat. Appreciated the essential drinks/food on arrival and helpful info in the guest book. Already hoping we can go back to this little bit of heaven!

14 days in October... ideal travel time for Rhodes. And the accommodation is ideal too. Great view of Kalathos Bay. The sunrise every morning is an experience. The location is simply ideal for someone who wants to spend relaxing days away from the hustle and bustle. Completely quiet at the end of the street...just beautiful. The furnishings in the villa leave nothing to be desired. Everything you need is there. Each room with a balcony or access to the terrace. The garden is lovingly landscaped. There was a welcome pack of food and drinks...very generous. Very nice contact with the owner who always answers questions immediately. We really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend Villa Irene and will definitely come back. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests.

4/5 Nice clean villa with amazing views. Great sized pool & an enjoyable place to hang out for the day if you can't be bothered with the beach. 1 or 2 issues with fixtures & fittings but they didn't detract from the experience. Good location for visiting nearby Lindos, Pefkos, Haraki etc. Car essential.

Great views and accommodation Absolutely stunning views and accommodation. We (family of 5) stayed for 10 nights and the villa had everything we needed and more. Fantastic communication throughout from the owners. The people who maintained the property were also very polite and helpful. We would recommend a stay to anyone! 5 Stars!!

5/5 The perfect base for adventures in Rhodes The location of Villa Irene is lovely. Peaceful and quiet with spectacular views across a wide expanse of sea and sky - we saw some amazing sun rises and sun sets as well as a rising moon, which we had never experienced before. The pool is a really good size for a private villa. Plenty of room for games and races or just lounging about and taking a refreshing dip. The Villa was comfortable and well equipped. Traveler Tips: The villa is about 45 mins from the airport. Signs are in English and the directions provided were good. Villa Irene is up a very steep slope which is a bit of a slog on foot sometimes, but the views the elevated position makes it well worth the effort. There is a tourist shop on the way to Kalathos beach (3 mins in car) which has all the basics - water, milk, cereal, cheese, eggs etc. and the main supermarket Mins up road towards Lindos, has everything you might need. The stony beach is lovely and quiet and great for snorkelling and there are some good places to eat there. Lindos is great for nights out (go for drinks about 6pm and eat later to catch the sunsets). It's 10 minutes by taxi (14 euros there, 12 euros back). Food/ drinks between 60-70 euros for a family of 4. Great shops and brilliant rooftop restaurants. I recommend renting a car which opens up the island to other beautiful beaches, villages and archeological sites. Such a lovely island deserves to be explored. Lots of places sold local delicacies such as flavored ouzo's, honey and biscuits. They were all delicious and were great gifts to take home."
