Our vacation villa enjoys magical sunsets and uninterrupted seaviews of the Aegean Sea! It is built at a prime location, only 5 mins walk to two wonderful sandy beaches (Koumbara and Tzamaria) and just a few minutes drive to Gialos beach (1.3kms), Ios port (2kms) and Ios Chora (3.5km).
The villa size is 160 sq.m. on a 6,000m piece of land that reaches out to the sea. It is actually an architectural marvel, built with respect to local tradition and with true attention to detail. From the outside, the villa structure combines the Cycladian white with pure local stone. All verandas and terraces surrounding the villa are made out of the same stone, whereas the inside of the house is dressed in eternal white all around. The villa interior features a sitting room with two sofa beds and fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, guest wc and two large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.10) and en-suite bathroom with a beautiful stone washbasin and a large built-in shower. The second bedroom is actually a studio with its own sink facility, small fridge, private entrance and veranda with outdoor seating. It features a queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00), two single beds and en-suite built-in shower with stone washbasin. All bedrooms enjoy wonderful sea views.
Our holiday villa's body structure was diligently built in a way so as to minimize the impact of Cycladian northern winds, offering protection where you need it most, at the two main verandas. More specifically, the main veranda offers seating and dining facilities while a long stone built-in bench reaches out to the barbecue. The barbeque itself was meticulously constructed to harmonically blend with the body of a large rock which the owners left untouched at its natural position. Verandas and terraces of 300sq.m. extend around the villa.

We had our best family vacation ever at VillIa Ios Blue. After a warm welcome by Christos, we settled very quickly in the house which is perfectly clean, pure and white. A real modern holiday house where everything is designed to be nice, simple and relaxing. We enjoyed the terrace and the MAGIC view. The house is west-facing, which enables to have shadowed breakfast and dramatic sunset drinks before dinner. We spent most of the time outside, but the bedrooms also have the view and fresh air through the net (never a mosquito with all windows opened!). Bathrooms are very spacious and much better designed and comfortable than in many luxury hotels. The roof terrace is amazing at sunset time. The villa is located near very nice beaches and close to the port (25 minutes walk, or 5 minutes by car or quad) without being part of it.The entire island is more preserved and secluded than other islands which we visited like Paros or Santorin; there is a real quality of life with a chill attitude. Around are nice tavernas, restaurants and activities (we rented a boat on the port very easily and discovered wonderful beaches and diving areas (including, near Manganari Beach, a cave made of white marble giving an incredible color to the water around). My husband and I built our villa in Ios as our second home. My husband's roots relate to this wonderful island. Further to this, we were enchanted by the beauty of the island so we had been visiting ever since we met in the early 2000s. Eventually, we decided to build a home with respect to the local architecture so that we will have the opportunity to enjoy it every summer. We still do, when we come with our two children from Athens. For the remaining summer, we share our house's and island's beauty with families from all over the world, as we offer it as a vacation rental. I have been invloved in the hospitality industry for quite a few decades, so we endeavour to offer a carefree, quality and pleasant stay to our guests :-)
