There were countless expressions of how quiet it was. The pool was the hub of our stay and surprisingly warm for the time of year. The Villa was clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic time exploring some of their recommendations. Location is secluded and you definitely need a car, but you're only 5 mins drive from almyrida. Lovely little fishing town, highly recommend Dimitris for dinner! Helena E Mon, Jul 10 – Thu, Jul 20, 2023 Vrbo 5/5 FABULOUS This villa is exactly as it looks on the website, lovely garden, spacious interior, comfortable, well equipped, gorgeous pool (well maintained throughout our stay) roof terrace with panoramic views and the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. The villa lends it's self as a perfect base to explore the island from, walks, glass factory, diving school, tavernas and more. A car is needed but local firm has excellent rates taxi firm was very reasonable too if eating out and want to enjoy a glass of something nice and cold whilst on the beach front. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer als auch mit den Ansprechpartnern vor Ort (herzlichen Dank an Louisa und Lee) war sehr nett, unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Der Weg zum Haus ist zwar ein wenig abenteuerlich aber gut machbar. Dafür entflieht man hier dem Trubel. Die Kommunikation mit unseren Vermietern war total unkompliziert und sehr entgegenkommend. A car is essential as were the excellent directions to find the property. Great location for quick and easy access to the beach at Almyrida and the traditional village of Gavalochori offering a couple of great tavernas. The house is styled in a very appealing traditional architecture and furnished in a modern style with many useful tools such as air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fly screens for almost every room, induction stove, good TV and WiFi, large fridge and freezer, etc. We enjoyed to spend a lot of time at the clean pool, in the garden with a versatile flora, or on the large balcony enabling a splendid view to the seaside. The bathrooms are also very clean, we felt very comfortable, as in every room. Definitely, we would come back to Villa Allium to experience more Greek feelings! Sweet home! Peter & Alison are very caring landlords and helped us anytime where necessary. Advices and hints of that region are given in a very well prepared booklet. Nous étions avec nos quatre enfants et avons passé de merveilleuses vacances . Une voiture est indispensable pour se déplacer dans cette superbe île . L accueil, la générosité, la gentillesse des crétois accompagnés du doux bruit des cigales nous ont tous séduit, Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute Merci encore à Alison et Peter. Bruno L Sat, Jul 27 – Sat, Aug 10, 2019 Vrbo 5/5 Une très belle maison parfaite pour des vacances au calme Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances à la Villa Allium. La maison en pierre (ce qui est assez rare dans la région) a beaucoup de charme , le jardin est magnifique et la terrasse à l'étage permet d'admirer le coucher de soleil. La localisation en haut du hameau d'Aspro est parfaite et permet de rejoindre sans trop de route les plus beaux sites de la partie ouest de la Crête. L'aménagement de la maison est complet et l'ameublement est fonctionnel et avec 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain on ne peut pas rêver mieux! Nous sommes arrivés de nuit vers 23h et nous avons trouvé sans problème la maison avec les indications données par Peter et Alison. Nous avons également fort apprécié la piscine (peut être qu'un parasol supplémentaire serait nécessaire). Nous recommanderons cette location à nos amis. 8/20/2019 at 2:00 PM
