Crete Retreat Olivetree

Jorin Es war einfach super schön. Rachel, Rob und Ian sind einfach tolle Gastgeber und noch sehr viel liebevollere Menschen. Immer hilfsbereit und bemüht dir den sowieso schon tollen Aufenthalt noch zu versüßen. Wir konnten nur schweren Herzens abreisen und werden bei unserem nächsten Kretabesuch wieder kommen. Wir hatten die olive tree Villa und es war alles vorhanden was man in seinen eigenen 4 Wänden auch benötigt. Sehr große Küche, schöne Terrasse, saubere Betten auf zwei Schlafzimmer verteilt. Der Garten ist auch super schön und hat einen tollen großen Pool. Ein absolutes Ruheparadies. Ich könnte immer weiter schwärmen. Ganz liebe Grüße an euch 3 und Ricky. We already miss u. P.s. selbst gemachten gin gab es auch noch zu kaufen ❤

June 2021 We spent in Olive Tree the best part of our vacation. The spacious air conditioned house offered a comfortable stay for four people. The pool in the lovely garden provided an opportunity to relax after hours of exploring the surrounding attractions. The hosts were friendly, unobtrusive but always helpful. Thank you very much and we will gladly return there. Katerina July 2021 This little Crete Retreat was a great find. The hosts are lovely and always accessible. Since we had our own car, we didn’t mind staying a little bit further from the center of Chania. The property was quiet, safe and private. The garden is also beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The Villa is spacious, clean, and we loved the welcome bowl of mixed fruit. The wifi and air conditioning was a huge plus. We were very happy with our stay. Aug 2021 Top: great getaway with nice garden and villa. The house has everything you need inside and the airco works well. The hosts are very sweet and make you feel welcome. There are only 3 houses so it feels very private. There’s a good pool and a great gas bbq, games to play and organice grown vegetables/fruit that are offered (pay as you like) by the hosts. The beach is in Chania, 10 min drive) Tip: house could use some maintenance and good to know that cicades are there making sounds all day long. You can filter it out but good to mention. They are actracted by the light so in the evening they will join you when sitting outside;)

We have returned here every year for 5 years and have always been reluctant to go anywhere else, especially the children. The villas are clean and spacious, the gardens are lovely full of plants and herbs, which is helpful when cooking, if you dont want to go into Chania to the many lovely restaurants. Ian and his family are always on hand to help in anyway they can to make your stay more comfortable. The pool is large and clean, there are plenty of sunbeds, you are not restricted as you maybe in small hotels, apartments etc as there are only 3 villas. It is also very private if you want to be. The location is perfect for getting to some lovely beaches, Marathi, Kalathas and Geourgioupolis. Chania Town and Souda Bay being a short drive away and we would recommend a car. You can drive into the mountains and have easy access to the main highway. There is a fantastic Grand Prix Go Kart circuit and a Waterpark about a 25min drive away. We feel this offers value for money, my children dont ever want to go anywhere else and if rest and relaxation is what you need, then you will find it here, your children will be safe in the grounds as we overlooked the pool area. We are leaving for Crete in 4 days and cant wait and we will book again with our friends for next year.
