In an enviable location in the sought-after neighbourhood of Capon in glamorous Saint-Tropez, this villa exudes charm, style and elegance in an absolutely beautiful setting.

Villa Saint-Trop is a picture-perfect home, painted white with pretty blue shutters, old tiles and a turret at the top surrounded by glorious gardens full of Mediterranean colours and scents. It was originally owned by a very famous French singer from the late 70s who wanted to create a Provençal haven and even to this day this high-end villa has a wonderfully relaxed ambience about it.

Throughout the country house, which has air-conditioning throughout, the interiors are chic with furnishings made out of precious woods, leather or Provençal fabrics and old photos or tasteful art adorning the walls. There are five pretty bedrooms, each with their own bath or shower room, including a delightful top-floor room in the turret with arched windows leading to a little balcony. Both the living room and sleek kitchen-diner are full of light streaming in from the doors which open on to the serene al-fresco dining terrace where many a warm summer evening can be spent enjoying good local food and wine with loved ones.

The immaculately manicured gardens are a delight whether you are relaxing with your morning coffee in the Moroccan outdoor lounge, dipping your toes in the large heated swimming pool or bathing in the sun on the beautiful teak terrace by the pool house. For lazy days there’s a hammock between the fruit trees under the shade of a huge pine tree or you can enjoy time with family and friends before a leisurely barbecue by the terrace. You may even catch a glimpse of the sea towards Pampelonne beach.

Although you feel like you are in your own Provençal paradise, you are just a few minutes by car from the heart of Saint-Tropez where you can dine in some of the finest restaurants, explore the most beautiful boutiques and stroll along the port with fishing boats moored alongside luxurious yachts. You can also reach the coast in just a short drive; head south to find the famous Pampelonne beach with its exclusive beach clubs and excellent watersports.

For a more laid-back approach, drive inland to discover archetypal hilltop villages such as Grimaud, Gassin and Ramatuelle with flower-filled cobbled lanes, pretty French cafes and amazing views of the surrounding landscapes and French Riviera. If you wish to explore wilder parts of the coast, explore the beaches and amazing walks around La Croix Valmer whilst keen hikers and cyclists can also find some spectacular trails in the hinterland of the region.

This is a fantastic region for outdoor activities whether you wish to play golf on some of the French Riviera’s finest greens or ride horseback in spectacular scenery. Families can try out paint-balling, go-karting, tennis and water parks in the surrounding region, not to mention some amazing boat trips from Saint-Tropez from sightseeing along the Côte d'Azur to whale watching in the Mediterranean.
