Overview
Located in a pine forest and ideal for year round getaways, this Provencal property has two spacious doubles and two large twin bedrooms. Great villa for families or two groups of friends wanting to holiday together. The villa is spacious and the very large pool and lovely flat grounds which surround the pool are wonderful.
Set in the pretty village of Rognes which is mainly known for its wine, truffles and the quality of its stone used and sought after for stylish interior designs in renovated properties.
Rognes is a great base for discovering surrounding villages (Le Puy Ste Réparade, beautiful Lourmarin and many more...), towns such as Aix en Provence or Salon de Provence both within 30 minutes drive and within easy access to the Luberon and Alpilles mountains.
Rognes village centre can be reached via a footpath from the house which takes about 15 min or by car in a few minutes. In Rognes you will find shops, newsagent, bars, bakery and the nearest restaurants are under a mile away.
ACCOMMODATION
Living room with sofas, armchairs, TV, hi-fi and fireplace (wood provided). Dining area with table and chairs. French doors opening onto terrace.
Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hobs, fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. Utility room: washing machine, freezer, iron, ironing board and vacuum.

Bedroom with Queen size bed (160cm) and private shower room.
First floor:
2 bedrooms with twin beds, desk and views of garden and pool.

Lovely garden, mostly flat but not fully enclosed. Two terraces. One covered and located next to the property with summer kitchen with outdoor furniture, pizza oven, plancha and sink. The other terrace located in front of the villa is ideal for sunbathing! Pool house with eight sun loungers. Table tennis table. Carport for one car plus ample parking within the grounds.
Large swimming pool with cover as security system. Size: 14m x 6m. Depth: gentle slope 0.8m - 1.7m.

Bed linen and towels (not pool towels).
Water and electricity.
Payable on arrival:
Refundable security deposit: 600€ payable with balance and refunded no more than 7 days after departure.

We were very impressed with the property. It was spacious, well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. It was very hot upstairs on our arrival but we managed to keep the house cool after that using the shutters etc. The garden was just right, peaceful for most of the time with shady areas and the pool was clean. The car port is very helpful too. The area is of course lovely. There is easy access to most places. The small communes and towns aren’t offering that much locally compared to some other parts of Provence but that said we were happy to self-cater anyway as it was very hot during our stay. The key holder was there on arrival. We were late so we were grateful for his patience. We speak very little French so he used his phone to interpret what we needed to know. We weren’t sure of the arrangements for check out and leaving the key as these instructions seem to be missing from the documents (unless we overlooked it somewhere) and we ended up texting the keyholder that morning to say what time we were planning to leave. Our worry was that if we had left earlier then we’d have had to leave the house and gate insecure. We didn’t get a response to the text but he arrived 30 minutes before our departure time. It would be helpful to have that clarified for future guests. We also thought it would be helpful to have a guest folder with local information eg emergency contacts and addresses for doctors, location of supermarkets etc. Your own service has been friendly and efficient.
