Four double bedrooms, each with a bath or shower, and a sofa bed in a studio-style bedroom allow the villa to accommodate up to ten guests.
Here, the emphasis is on a contemporary, understated yet appealing aesthetic and a beautiful open-plan area for relaxing and enjoying meals with family and friends.
Doors swing up to the upper terrace from the living area, providing access to outdoor dining with views of the mountains. The water is even visible from several areas of this attractive Corsican home.
Wander down the steps from the lower patio to the inviting pool and yet another charming location for shady dining by the barbeque and summer kitchen or relaxing in the Corsican sun.
The olive trees are where you'll find the boules court, which gives this Mediterranean home even more character.
It's convenient to be able to walk to a sizable grocery close to Porto Vecchio, and there is a summer restaurant about 1 km away.
The idyllic bay at Saint Cyprien, ideal for summer watersports, seaside dining, and swimming in blue water, is reached after 6 kilometers of continuing on the neighboring road.
You can travel a similar distance by automobile to the well-known Plage de Cala Rossa or head a little further north to the stunning beach at Pinarellu.
In the south, Porto Vecchio, a charming harbor town with a maze of medieval streets in the old town and an excellent marina, is only 5 kilometers away.
Visit neighborhood eateries to sample exquisite Corsican fare like grilled seafood, wild boar, and chestnuts, perhaps with a glass of Corsican rosé.
Visit the amazing citadel in Bonifacio at the southernmost point of the island, or pack a picnic and take a ferry to the serene Lavezzi Islands, a haven for walkers and beach bums.
Of course, there are also the rough interior hiking paths of Corsica, including the Forêt de l'Ospédale and the Col de Bavella, which beg to be discovered and offer yet another chance to take in the amazing natural beauty of this island.
