This modern holiday home features four bedrooms and a spacious air-conditioned lounge in a pretty setting close to Ménerbes, the gorgeous hilltop village where Peter Mayes wrote ‘A Year in Provence’.
The bedrooms are simple but attractive and the ground floor double benefits from air-conditioning, plus there are three shower rooms for the benefit of guests, including an en suite bedroom in an annexe.
The good-sized swimming pool means warm afternoons can be spent outdoors, perhaps preparing feasts in the summer kitchen or simply relaxing on one of the sun-loungers, making the most of the calm surroundings with just a small handful of neighbours dotted around.
Ménerbes can be reached within a short drive, such a charming place to explore with its restaurants, little shops and delightful market on a Thursday morning.
Other gorgeous villages nearby include Gordes, Oppède le Vieux and Lacoste or head a little further afield to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with its waterways and famous Sunday morning brocante.
Beyond local villages and towns, go for long walks through woodland and cherry orchards, sample Luberon wine from nearby vineyards and appreciate the stunning scenery of the Luberon, such a captivating part of Provence.
