A short drive away lies the charming town of Cargèse, which is made up of white buildings with blue shutters and is situated in a gorgeous location with a view of the Gulf of Sagone.
It was established in the 17th century by Greek immigrants and features two exquisite Latin and Greek churches facing each other above the sea. It has a rich history.
There are numerous summer water activities available at Cargèse's major sandy beach, and there are additional beaches to discover nearby around the bay.
If you want to see the incredible rock formations of the Calanches, you might be tempted to navigate the winding path towards Piana and beyond.
However, it is much easier to simply observe it from one of the fantastic boat trips that will also take you to the wonderful Scandola Nature Reserve, sometimes with a swimming stop along the way.
