What an amazing place! Beautiful views, had everything we needed and more for children and adults. Loved the pool, the weather was beautiful, what more can we say, perfect place, Chantelle was very helpful.
This villa was amazing and had everything we wanted. Chantelle was an amazing too and we especially loved the pool and outside deck area. Hopefully be back soon.
What a fabulous house! We had a wonderful time, the perfect spot to relax during a heat wave. We hope to be back one day.
‘Exceeded our expectations The house was the perfect setting for our party of 8. The bedrooms were all a good size and with 3 bathrooms and great air conditioning they were perfect. The indoor kitchen and dining area are huge and are the best equipped we have ever had. The outside areas are just outstanding. We used the bbq a couple of times and ate outside every evening. The table tennis was fab and we developed a great love for darts! The pool is to die for. In terms of the area, Collins bar is a 2 minutes drive away and is open from 5pm for drinks on a hilltop. We had a meal and wine tasting at Logeril (Pennautier) which we loved. There are plenty of pizzerias a short drive away.’ September.
“This is an amazing villa… What a wonderful holiday at this amazing Villa. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners who were amazing and answered all our queries and were very fair minded when checking out. This really is a luxury house and everything was as stated. The pool is excellent as well as the hot tub. There are lots of eating areas and plenty of room to sunbathe on the decking. I can recommend taking advantage of the visiting chef - he was excellent. The property has an aircon which works extremely well. The kitchen is amazing with every mod con you could want and well appointed with kitchen equipment. The welcome book was very useful and covered everything. There are plenty of fridges and freezers and one outside which was very useful. We were 7 adults and three young children and we fitted in very well and never felt cramped. Some of the walks nearby are very good. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be returning.’ July.
‘Fantastic holiday We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad.’ June.

Colin and I have been in the accommodation hosting business for over 20 years, giving us extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Over time, we’ve perfected our luxury villa to provide a truly exceptional experience for our guests. We built the property from scratch 8 years ago with luxury and comfort in mind. We instantly fell in love with the location. It’s just a 10-minute drive from the vibrant City of Carcassonne, yet feels like it’s miles away from everything. The village of Aragon, one of France's prettiest, offers two bars and a fantastic restaurant. Having lived in the area for 20 years, we chose it for its stunning natural beauty and diversity. It’s ideally situated between the Mediterranean, the Black Mountains, the Pyrenees, and the Costa Brava, and lies within one of France’s most renowned wine regions. The local restaurants offer incredible, value-for-money meals. We treasure the tranquility and natural surroundings – it’s the perfect retreat from the daily grind. From the house, the views stretch across the valley and mountains, and at night, the only sounds are cicadas and owls. Stargazing from the hot tub is a magical experience, and the views from the infinity pool are simply breathtaking. What Makes This Property Unique Heated infinity saltwater pool and plunge pool Expansive, open-plan living spaces with large windows, offering bright, airy interiors and panoramic views of the countryside Architecturally designed by two artists Located in the heart of the picturesque South of France countryside Fully air-conditioned with underfloor heating Luxuriously designed, individually styled bedrooms Premium bedding and towels Stunning, uninterrupted views
