Villa Cariad in Tala, near Paphos, Cyprus is a modern luxury villa with private pool, three bedrooms (one en-suite) that sleeps six. Villa Cariad is situated on the edge of the thriving village of Tala with shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance, and an easy drive to the beach and sea at Coral Bay. Villa Cariad is spacious, bright and airy with modern furniture and has everything you would need to accommodate six people in comfort. The ground floor of Villa Cariad is a large open plan area comprising lounge, dining area and kitchen as well as a cloakroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom and 2 balconies. A covered outside terrace opens off the lounge to the well manicured garden and private swimming pool. Decking at the side accommodates further outdoor furniture. The private pool is 9m x 4m with Roman Steps for Ease of Access.

Free Car A Vauxhall Zafira, 7 seater car is included in the rental price. This enables you to fully explore Paphos and Cyprus and also represents a significant cost saving on your holiday.

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

The front door of Villa Cariad opens into the open plan area comprising lounge, dining room and kitchen. Villa Cariad's kitchen is large and very well equipped including granite worktops, a washing machine, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Between the kitchen and dining area there's a breakfast bar. The dining area has a large modern table and eight chairs with doors opening out to the outside terrace area and private pool.

The contemporary lounge area has three large comfortable sofas, (so perfect for relaxing in front of the television with Smart TV and DVD player). From the lounge, doors open out onto a covered terrace and private pool. The terrace is furnished with a glass topped table and six chairs perfect for relaxing in the shade, a quick dip in the refreshing private pool, alfresco dining and socialising with your party.

Upstairs at Villa Cariad, the landing leads to three bedrooms and the large family bathroom with bath and shower over. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom including a shower cubicle. Doors lead out to the balcony with table, chairs and stunning views across the landscaped gardens, the private pool and the fields to the sea at Chlorakas. The perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. There are two further bedrooms, both twin. Both are bright, airy rooms with fitted wardrobes. The first twin has access to the aforementioned balcony and the other has a small one of its own with lovely countryside views.

Wi-Fi is included in the rental rate

A travel cot and highchair are available on request as are an infants car seat and booster seat for the car

The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. It also features a library of 900 movies, series and children's series which is regularly updated.

NetFlix and Amazon prime video also included

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Villa Cariad is an attractive villa with stone detailing on the front with an archway porch for the front door.

A long driveway leads to a carport (covered parking) at the end, perfect for keeping the car cool in the heat of the summer.

The landscaped and enclosed gardens include an 9m x 4m private swimming pool accessed by Roman Steps, surrounded by areas for loungers and other comfortable seating. The villa has six loungers and two umbrellas to make the most of the private pool area, as well as a large gas barbeque for alfresco dining. A Karcher Pool Shower is provided

The seating under the large palm tree on the decking is ideal for casual coffees and drinks whilst admiring the wonderful views.

Please note that the road that can be seen below is the one leading into the complex. It is not a main road and will not cause any disturbance or infringe privacy, It is only used by a small number of residents on this complex and there is no through road

The car will be waiting at the villa for you on arrival. We can arrange a taxi transfer from our own driver who knows where the property is.

The changeover day is flexible however bookings leaving unrentable periods (less than 7 days) between existing bookings may not be accepted.

Villa Cariad it's just a ten minute stroll into Tala village where you'll find a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Picturesque Tala Square is just 1.5km away and is popular for lunches, relaxing with a drink and evening meals on the verandas of the good quality restaurants, many with stunning views over Paphos and to the sea. Tala is a popular and growing village north of Paphos, set on a west facing hillside looking out over the blue Mediterranean Sea. Immediately north of the village is the famous Agios Neofytos monastery dating from 1159. In the fields around Tala you'll find vineyards, orange, lemon, olive and almond trees and banana plantations.

You can drive to Villa Cariad from Paphos Airport in about thirty minutes. From the villa it's an easy drive into Paphos for some of the best shopping you'll find anywhere in Cyprus. It's also an easy drive to the centre of Peyia, a vibrant community stretching from the bright lights of Coral Bay to the traditional centre of the old village. There are a good choice of beaches within an easy drive. Try Coral Bay - a great beach with every amenity and water sports you could imagine including diving.

Alternatively drive up the coast road into the Akamas Region to enjoy the deserted beaches of Lara and beyond. From Tala the attractions in Paphos and renowned Paphos Aphrodite Water Park are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park.

There's a golf course at Tsada (now known as Minthis Hills) approximately 20 minutes drive away as well as the new Elea Estate Golf Club designed by Nick Faldo. Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills golf courses can be reached in 30 minutes or less also.

The local mini-market and Cava (great wine selection) is open 6am until 1am May-October and 6am until midnight in other periods

Toiletries (we brought our own). Netflix on the TV which was handy for the couple of nights we stayed in the villa in the evening. Just everything you could possibly want. Outside area is full of lovely well kept planes and even lemon trees round the back which we picked for our drinks! Can’t fault anything Oh and also the car. What a godsend. No hassle at airport picking up a car and time wasted on doing so. Car was waiting for us at villa and great size. Brilliant. Would recommend a car if you intend to leave the villa. Small supermarket within 10 minute walk but uphill so need to take that into account and the heat. Easy drive to Paphos through the old town or head to coral bay which is on the back road. Recommend Google maps to keep you right. Very very peaceful, safe and quiet area. Neighbours appear to be families that live there. We always head to Paphos harbour and beach. Can’t go wrong there. Also head up to Tala square with the church. Beautiful to eat and have a drink and just so lovely. Can’t fault the service provided by Steven. Emails answered so quickly and just great in providing information and help. Taxi was arranged by Steven and waiting for us on arrival (even after a 3 hour delay and arriving in the middle of the night) and again can’t sing praises enough. Had the pleasure of meeting Andreas himself as he took us back to the airport. What a genuinely lovely person. Would highly recommend using his taxi service for any trips. 30 euro to the airport was a very reasonable price. Colin was great. Only had to call him one time to get the Wi-Fi password which was in the information file that I hadn’t checked. Colin cleaned the pool twice when we were there and was a very pleasant laidback guy. Fair to say we have had a great experience using your services. Many thanks once again Lilian ''.
