Nissi Golden Sands Villa 7

The house was clean on arrival and the self check in worked perfectly. We had an issue with the safe and a broken socket in the kitchen which was quickly rectified by the owner the next day. The location is good, it’s a quiet complex which is within walking distance of beautiful Nissi beach. There are good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby and also places to hire bikes or buggies to get around. It is about a 30 minute walk into Ayia Napa where there are many restaurants/bars/clubs, taxis are easy to find and the bus runs regularly and is cheap. We hired bikes and cycled to the water park which is just over a mile from the house.
The house itself would benefit from some refreshment of the decor, it is shabby in places and the bathroom has mildew on the shower screen and around the bath. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils. A coffee maker would be a welcome addition.
The outdoor space and pool is good with comfortable sun loungers, there are some broken tiles and sadly the BBQ was unusable due to it being unclean and in a poor state of repair.
Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday.

We stayed in the property 7 years ago for owa first wedding anniversary and it was fantastic! But honestly the once high standard has slipped, small issues of the property where loose door handles one i had to reassemble and screw back on to the door. The 2 front bedrooms, the balcony doors couldnt be locked, luckily there little to no crime in the area, the ceiling in front room paint is peeling off. Door catches and door stops missing 1 still has the screw in the floor which is a constant toe stubber as its positioned in front of wardrobe. The pool lights no longer work, and on the 9th day of our stay we came out on the morning to find it had dislodged its self from its housing and was floating in the pool, still connected by the power cable, i myself manged to find the screw at the bottom of the pool and re assemble the light to the housing. We also paid extra for a travel cot and no travel cot was in the villa, if it was it must of been hide and seek champion 2023.
We didnt use the bbq as it was left in a dirty state, and all the base of it is cracking and breaking pieces of rebar are on show. The complex the villa is situated on is fantastic excellent location.our holiday overall was great i just wish we didnt encounter these small problems when your paying 2000 euros you dont expect problems especially small easy fixes. I heard its swapped owners since our first visit and you can tell as said the once high standard has slipped. I hope these small problems will be rectified for the sake of others and restore the villa to its former glory

The villa has a lovely pool in a quiet area of Nissi beach.
There were a few issues which were quickly sorted out by the agent Shaun.
I would say it could maybe do with an update in the kitchen, but was more than adequate for our needs.
