Welcome to ‘Beach Villa Mare’, a stunning ultra modern styled holiday home situated on the beach and sea overlooking the unspoilt coastline of Argaka Bay, and the Mediterranean Sea. Argaka is a very affluent and tranquil location situated just outside the traditional yet vibrant town of Polis just North of Paphos.

After leaving the coastal road, the villa is easily accessed and it is possible to walk to local amenities as desired. The beach road features a promenade stretching along to all nearby restaurants, shops and bars and if you get too hot on the way you can simply take a dip in the sea at your leisure. Several Tavernas as well as the beach itself forms part of a beautiful stretch of coastline going all the way to Latchi and the Akamas Nature Reserve in one direction and ‘Pomos’ (the last village in the South of Cyprus) in the other. Santa Barbara Beach Bar/Taverna (2km away) is a great place for dining and it also has swings, beach sun loungers and a changing room for those relaxing days by the beach.

There are no neighbours to the West for almost 2km and this is likely to stay that way. The nearest villa to the East is Villa Anthiana and is approx 100m (beach side referred to with distances). The villa is therefore a secluded haven on the beach. Enjoy the peace and privacy and the gentle sound of the waves as you relax on your well deserved holiday. A truly quite unique opportunity.

IPTV system. LG music system. Large white coffee table & smaller white side table. 4 pendant light fittings. Climate control a/c. The dining area is large wooden table with glass top & 9 white leather chairs.

The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as channels in German & Russian (other languages also) and an automatically updated Video Library with films, series and more. Netflix and You Tube can also be accessed

There is a doorway which leads up to the front of the villa and the direct access to the beach (10 steps).

Access to the roof terrace from First Floor.

The Large covered roof terrace with glass balustrade and concrete seating around the edges allowing 360 view from there of both hill and sea. Large white Table and 8 x chairs. A great area to admire the views, disappear off with a book, play games or have pre-dinner drinks with your party.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Access to the Villa's substantial grounds is by a Gated concrete driveway to convenient area for parking.

Hedges surround the property marking the boundary. There is direct access to sea & beach. Palm trees are to the roadside of the property. 7 Concrete steps with glass balustrade lead to the stainless steel door leading into villa and its pool area. There is a tap here to wash off sand from feet after being to the beach.

The Private Pool is a 4.5m x 10.5m infinity edged overflow with both metal & roman steps for access. Glass balustrades surrround the edge of the modern concrete veranda which has a very clean look. There is an outdoor shower & sink area which can be used for food preparation by the bbq.

The area also consists of 8 sunloungers & pads for your relaxation. Small tables & 4 parasols with bases also surround the pool. A large wooden door opens out to mountain view. There are 8 steps leading down to large grassed area for direct access to the beach.

A large wooden table & 9 chairs completes the area making it the ideal place to dine alfresco and socialise with your party.

The Local Area

Beach Villa Mare is situated on the coastline of Argaka, a beautiful and somewhat unspoilt Cypriot Village sandwiched between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and some spectacular mountains filled with pine trees.

Argaka is home to a number of traditional Cypriot restaurants, a beach bar and an Irish Bar as well as a bakery and 2 mini-markets. Many of these amenities are in walking distance of the villa or within a very short car journey. Travel a little way and you reach the bigger town of Polis.

There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, shop at some larger supermarkets, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or just watch the world go by in the ambience of the traditional village square.

The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides (or even hire your own) to the ‘blue lagoon’, have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous ‘Fish Meze’ where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by.

For the more adventurous, you can enter the ‘Akamas’ Nature reserve and go all the way round to ‘Lara Beach’ famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Peristerona, Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Argaka and you won’t be disappointed.

The villa is vast, a great space to entertain and probably too big for just the four of us. We really enjoyed the space it offered us to spread out and relax. The location was fantastic and memorable. We dined at at Santa Barbara twice, Halfway House and Nicandros in Latchi . All excellent family run authentic Cypriot restaurants at sensible price points for a family. Excellent service as agents, will certainly book with you again. No issues locally. Middle of nowhere with essentially a private beach. We recommend Santa Barbara Restos & Latchi. You were prompt and top of everything very quickly. Well handled locally also. It was wonderful ''

The villa was fantastic, really spacious with the best view I have ever seen from a private villa. Sitting in the evenings watching the sun go down was magical. The pool was a good size and cleaned once during our stay. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything you need for a family holiday. The living area was roomy and ideal for large groups. The lower level was huge again and had a great pool table and exercise equipment and another bathroom which was really useful when you were down there for any length of time. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. All in all a fantastic place to spend a week. Only one small comment about sun loungers -see below. The location was stunning literally a short walk down to the beach uninterrupted except for a few prickly bushes - (beach shoes reccomended!) The beach was empty and the sea was warm and on a calm day crystal clear. As we visited in October it was not surprising we had a few windy days which make fabulous waves. At no time were we cold however. The Villa is a little way out of Polis but only a 15 minute drive into the centre and very quiet because of it. Villa was a little way out of the town but close to several little bars on the seafront. Our favourite was Santa Barbara where the food was lovely and the waiting staff very helpful and attentive. Lets rent online have been great helping with taxi transfers and suggestions for car hire all of which arrived when they said they would. They communicate well and answer questions quickly. We have never had a problem but I get the impression they would be supportive if you did. We did see the manager a couple of times and he sorted out our air con needs that were a bit complicated (on our side). We were provided with a lovely welcome pack including milk, tea, bread, wine, fresh fruit as well as lots of other things. This is really helpful when, as a British person, you have just arrived and can make a cup of tea instantly! We definitely want to come back to Cyprus. I will be in touch next year to rebook this villa. Thanks for your help once again
