With its huge roof terrace and fantastic panoramic views of the mountains and sea this property is ideal for a relaxing holiday for families or multiple couples.

Set in the ideal village location of Alsanjak yet just 10 mins from Northern Cyprus main city of Kyrenia, the development is quiet and friendly.

The apartment is fully equipped with all cooking appliances, utensils, tableware, juicer, blender and mod-cons., has AC throughout and is well furnished.

Tasteful wrought iron sunbeds / table / parasols / chairs to unwind and indulge in some al fresco roof dining are complimented by the bright, modern inside living area with comfortable chairs, good internet and a netflix TV, stereo systems, DVD player and a projector with screen for rooftop film nights.
The brick barbie, lighting, speakers and power on the roof are ideal for group dining upstairs and of course...a few drinks!

This property benefits from a gated kiddy friendly pool shared by 12 units (only 50 % of which are ever occupied), a great location and all day sun.

Two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (1 king with en-suite 1 double with small balcony and 1 x twin) make this property ideal for either a family or a group of friends to enjoy.

On-site parking and live-in locals to assist with restaurant suggestions, things to do or just friendly banter.

The property is set back from the main road, just a few minutes walk from the quiet and pretty village of Alsanjak with its small cafe's and authentic restaurants yet also only a couple hundred meters from a variety of well-stocked supermarkets, international restaurants, bars and amenities.

The winding mountain roads between the neighboring villages of Lapta, Basphinar and Karsiyaka make for great exploration drives or walks and the main city of Kyrenia/Girne with its beautiful old streets and picturesque marina is just a 20 minute drive away.

There are many historical sites to explore including the Bellapais Abbey, the fallen tank, St. Hillarion Castle and the walled fortresses.

Taxi's as well as hire cars are available and easily arranged, payable locally to a reputable, trusted and long established family firm associated with the owner for many years.

Both my girlfriend and I work long, unsociable hours so we were looking for a week away in the sun to get away from the incoming British winter without breaking the bank, which is exactly what we found.

We started by the standard Google search and browsed a couple of sites, stumbling upon this apartment in Alsancak. The booking process and communication was fantastically easy.

After landing in Ercan, a short taxi ride later we arrived at the apartment, conveniently located near to a supermarket and a magnificent Kebab and Pizza place (try their delicious chicken wrap).

The accommodation is perfectly suited to a family or group of friends as we had a choice of 3 bedrooms to sleep in, all of which are a fantastic size. We slept in the main bedroom that benefits from a very comfy king-sized bed and good-sized en-suit with toilet, sink and shower. Most mornings were spent drinking a cup of tea on the balcony over looking the pool, or on the roof terrace taking in the breath-taking views of the hills and surrounding scenery.

The large kitchen was a joy to cook in (albeit once as we discovered dozens of amazing restaurants and bars only minutes from the apartment), as all the appliances were easy to use and most importantly, clean! The fridge-freezer is the perfect size for plenty of food, drink and ice.

Although we didn’t use the pool, the water was clean and looked very inviting. We also didn’t use the air-conditioning, which is available throughout the apartment.

We’ll definitely be staying again!

The apartment is well located and within walking distance of shops and restaurants though i would highly recommend hiring a car to explore further afield. All three bedrooms were of a good size and all had air-con. We slept in the main bedroom which had a good size en-suite and a very comfortable bed- we both sept well. The balcony overlooking the pool was a great place to unwind in the evenings and it was in the shade which was a relief after the heat of the day. The pool was superb - much nicer than it looks on the web and crystal clear at all times.( It is checked twice a week). It never got busy and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The living room also had air con and was adequate though we spent little time in there. There was very little choice regarding watchable channels on the tv but that did not worry us as watching tv was not high on our holiday list. The kitchen was of a good size with a washing machine that we did make use of so we werent carting a load of dirty washing home. The hot water plumbing under the kitchen sink needs some attention but we managed by using the kettle for washing up. The roof terrace was huge and a great place to watch the sun setting. There were two sunloungers and a large patio table , a parasol would have been nice!
Overall we felt that this apartment was great value for money and in a location that suited us- there are some superb bars and beaches within a five minute drive. It was quiet and we felt very safe and the neighbours were friendly and welcoming and a great source of local knowledge.
We would have liked to have had contact/seen Sarah who managed the apartment but she was very elusive! Wes who owns the apartment was good at keeping in touch if we had a query but it meant contacting Britain every time. A key was left for us, it would have been nice to have seen Sarah who was supposed to have met us at the apartment, but it didnt deter from our enjoyable holiday.

Excellant facilities . 10 minutes drive from Kyrenia Town where you can stroll thru its lazy streets. The apartment is well laid out and has a lovely pool. All the amenities of home with that mediteranean touch. Well decorated and wonderful air conditioning. Plenty to do without all the hassle. Plenty to explore. Evenings in Kyrenia town and chilled and relaxing ideal for all.

Slightly set off the coast road this apartment is a short stroll into the village and a ten minute walk to the beach. Kyrenia is 15 mins drive away and the mountains are easily accessible. There are several local shops, mini-marts, cafes and eateries within a 5 minute walk. Being set back from the main road, passing traffic is minimal. Its quiet and yet not far from anything. This was a major consideration of the owner when the property was purchased

Since visiting Northern Cyprus some 16 years ago and purchasing Chez Wes a few months later whilst in the latter stages of completion, I and my family as well as many friends have enjoyed Chez Wes and the surrounding community a great deal. The property has not generally been let out on a commercial basis over the 15 years of ownership and is thus quite personal. I am an expatriate working in the Construction sector in the Middle East and try to spend as much time in the TRNC as possible each year where I have cultivated many friendships and integrated myself as a visiting community member.
