Villa Yanko

Rust en zon in prachtige moderne villa with a view 5/5 Stayed Oct 2019 Gert L. We hebben een prachtige week gehad met veel zwem plezier . Het weer was fantastisch (25 C) en het zwemmen in het zwembad ( wel verwarmd in verband met de wat koudere nachten in 3de week oktober) en ook in de zee (22 C) was goed te doen. Leuke plaatsjes om te bezoeken zoals Makarska en Podgori (olijfolie fabriekje) en mooie tochten naar Brac (eiland) en naar Biokovo ( ruim 1750 m ) met pittige trails om te lopen, maken het een interessante plek om te verblijven. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en elke avond waren prachtige zonsondergangen te zien. In de ochtend lekker buiten ontbeten ( de zon is midden okt. om 0930 op het terras) . Verder zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw die op verzoek ook de heerlijke traditionele Peka maaltijd voor je kunnen maken.

Wir (vier Erwachsene und vier Kinder) durften 11 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbringen und ich muss sagen, dass das Objekt mit der professionellen Betreuung vor Ort keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Vermiterin Marija und auch der Hausbesorger waren um unsere Zufriedenheit stets bemüht und ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir bekamen Tipps für wunderschöne Strände und Lokale in der Nähe, welche sich als perfekt offenbarten. Die Villa hat eine ausgesprochen schöne Lage mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Allein wenn man in der Früh den Vorhang aufmacht und den Blick aufs Meer genießen kann, macht sich ein unvergleichliches Urlaubsfeeling breit. Die Ausstattung der Villa entspricht einem sehr gehobenem Standard. Wir haben nichts vermisst und waren auch vom Aussenbereich begeistert. So bietet die Villa viele Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten und sogar einen eigenen Garten, wo wir uns vom reifen Obst und Gemüse bedienen durften. Die Kinder fanden vor Allem den Spielplatz toll, welcher ebenfalls umfangreich ausgestattet ist. Alles in Allem ein traumhafter Urlaub und die Gewissheit, wieder einmal die Villa Yanko zu besuchen.

Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommmen. Marija und ihr Mann geben sich alle Mühe, den Urlaub angenehm zu gestalten.Das Haus lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Lage ist super am Ende einer steilen Straße. Es ist sehr ruhig dort. Der Pool ist groß und gut einsehbar von der Terrasse aus gelegen, was die Aufsicht über die Kinder sehr angenehm macht. Die Zimmer sind groß mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Adria. Alles ist neu und sauber. I have appreciated less Es ist nichts zu bemängeln! My impression of the location visited Der Ort Šimići ist klein und kaum bewohnt. Man ist ziemlich allein. Wir fanden das sehr gut. Man kann vom Haus aus wunderschöne Wanderungen unternehmen. In nächster Nähe ist die Zipline und der Naturpark Biokovo. Das Meer ist gut erreichbar mit schönen Bademöglichkeiten, Parasailing, Boote mieten etc.

Maria and Zvonko are fantastic hosts and have an amazing villa. The villa was spotlessly clean, in excellent condition and is even better experienced in person than the photos show. It is a private villa with only a few neighbours that are some distance away, you wa little way up the hill, you will need a car or taxi but this only adds to the spectacular view you have from the pool terrace, living room and all 4 bedrooms! Our group go away each year to relax and have stayed in some great villas but it was the unanimous opinion of the group that this was the best villa yet.

Beautiful house in stunning location. Maria and Zvonko (and Billy the dog!) are absolutely top-class hosts; friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful when needed. The house, gardens and pool were perfect for us (4 couples). All the bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and luxurious and spotless bathrooms. The stylish living area and kitchen has plenty of room for everyone. The views from every room are simply stunning. We enjoyed the badminton and table tennis in the garden and of course the perfect pool! The speciality peka bbq meal that was prepared for us was absolutely delicious. Fresh figs, tomatoes and herbs picked from the garden were a treat. There are very good restaurants within walking or short taxi ride distance, and it's well worth the hike up and down the steep hill to enjoy an early morning swim in the sea! We very much hope to return. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Reviewed August 31, 2019 30th Anniversary family trip. We have just spent the most wonderful week at the stunning Villa Yanko with our 3 adult sons and their girlfriends. Maria and her husband were so kind and helpful and even cooked amazing traditional Croatian food on the BBQ for us for two nights which was delicious and not to be missed. Chilling at this beautiful villa is perfect. It’s a struggle to leave the place to explore as it’s just sooo nice. The views and sunsets are to die for. We could not recommend this place enough. A trip to remember We had high expectations before we arrived because of the amazing pictures on the booking site. Upon arrival, we quickly realised, that Villa Yanko exceeded all expectations. Starting with the spacious, luxurious and clean rooms to the stunning outdoor area with the amazing view over the pool. Entertainment wise, there was karaoke (for the one's who are brave enough), boardgames, table tennis, badminton and a massive speaker we could connect to via bluetooth to listen to at the pool. The owner's don't live far, but gladly aren't bothered at all by the music. They are the most welcoming hosts and also gave us some amazing insider tips for restaurants and even prepared traditional Croatian food for us. All in all, it is the best place I have stayed in and I would absolutely love to come back. I highly recommend this place not only for families who are looking for a quiet and luxurious accommodation, but also for friends who are looking for the perfect party villa or even for a chill couples retreat.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful two week stay with extended family- 3 adults and 4 children aged 5-12. It’s a great villa- the design is impeccable and well laid out and it’s very clean with the finish you’d get in a 5* hotel. All rooms are large equally sized with a private spa-like bathroom and all have an amazing sea view. The living area is perfect- open plan kitchen equipped with everything we’d expect at home, lovely hewed oak dining table and sofa/chill out area. All rooms including the living room have a smart tv so you can log in with your own Netflix/Amazon etc account which was very handy for chilled out ends to hot days. The owners are lovely and come over every day early morning to clean the pool and pool area. We were always getting fresh towels (separate pool/indoor ones) and the garden is brimming full of ripe figs and tomatoes that we were encouraged to help ourselves to. It’s a 5-10 minute drive to the beach but some days we struggled to leave the villa it was so relaxing. The beach is fairly touristy which made it more fun for the kids (giant inflatable obstacle courses in the sea, jet ski, speed boat and paddle hire) but you may want to drive slightly further to Brela (30 minutes away) for a quieter beach or take a boat somewhere for somewhere off the beaten track which we did a couple of days. Boring things- washing machine and dishwashers are very efficient. Air con works a dream. Nothing was broken or in poor repair. Overall I can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful house, fantastic location, very helpful owners 5/5 Stayed Jul 2018 Martin C. The property is finished to an exceptionally high standard and owners have thought of everything. The views are stunning and the pool area benefits from sunshine from morning till sunset. The location is quiet, away from the town. It is however, only a few km from the closest supermarkets and there is a fish market and a couple of good butchers. Restaurants in Tucepi and Markarska were good value. The owners were nearby but not intrusive at all. Pool was kept amazingly clean by owner each day before we awoke. Overall a fabulous holiday, we have had villa holidays for years (15 +) and Villa Yanko is the best one so far. We shall consider returning, we have never done this before. Published Aug 2, 2018

We spent a wonderful week in Villa Yanko with our family. The house is absolutely stunning. The interior space is well designed and there is plenty of space in all rooms. Private bathrooms in all bedrooms gives you feeling of luxury. The kitchen and living room area is also very comfortable. The house was very clean. The view from the pool is perfect for Instagram photos. Our teenagers appreciated good Wi-Fi connection, privacy and modern house equipment. Air conditioning was good. The hosts Marija and Zvonko were very friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend Villa Yanko for families and larger groups.

Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen im Juni in der Villa YANKO. Die Villa ist wunderbar gelegen und der Ausblick einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Wir wurden sehr freundlichen und herzlich von den beiden Besitzern begrüßt. Die Aufteilung der Villa ist optimal. Wir reisten mit zwei Kindern einem Kleinkind und sechs Erwachsenen. Die Schlafzimmer sind serh großzügig bemessen und die Betten sehr, sehr bequem! Die Badezimmer sind ebenfalls perfekt ausgetattet und sehr sauber. Die untere Etage ist ebenfalls großuzügig aufgeteilt. Wir haben jeden Abend gekocht oder gegrillt. die Küche ist dafür gut ausgetatet, hat aber noch etwas Luft nach oben, was die Arbeitsfläche angeht. Die Spülmaschine ging kaputt und es dauerte keine drei Stunden, dann bekamen wir vom Besitzter eine neue eingebaut. Das ist Service!! Auch das Peka welches vom Besitzer für uns gekocht wurde war ausgezeichnet! Ein Erlebnis! Besser als jedes Restaurant! Der Kinderspielplatz lässt keine Wünschen offen er ist liebevoll zurecht gemacht. Das gesamte Grundstück ist gefplegt und man kann sich hier in jeder Ecke wohl fühlen. Vom Pool aus hat meinen einen fantastischen Blick zum Sonnenuntergang. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder ! Für uns war es ein traumhafter Aufenthalt.

Maximilian Germany 10 Amazing villa with stunning views and luxury pool setting Gostu se svidjelo · The place was absolutely amazing. Stunning views, super clean, high-quality design furniture, comfortable beds and brand-new bathrooms. The pool was heated and it was a no-chemical (Sole) pool which was perfect. Ride to the closest supermarket is 6 - 8 minutes. The owner even cooked a BBQ for us which was great. I would go back anytime.

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Yanko. We are a group of 7 wanting to have a relaxing, luxurious stay and it was definitely that and more. Maria was SO accommodating and helpful, she answered all of our (many!) questions before and after our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend getting the meal cooked for you in the villa. Wonderful fish, lamb, bread, vegetables, all freshly baked and prepared, so delicious. Try it, a must! The actual villa was so amazing, it was modern, clean, light and airy and so wonderful for a trip - the pool was fabulous, with the most amazing views over the sea and islands. I could go on and on but just to stay, try Villa Yanko, the villa was brilliant and Maria was a wonderful host who helped us with everything including taxis, boat trips, food etc.

We rented Villa Yanko in May. It is the perfect place for a chilled stay in Croatia. The villa really leaves no wishes open. With the big garden, pool and playground it’s a family paradise . But also if you just go on vacation with your friends like me. We stayed for one week and i can say it’s sooo relaxing ! Specially because Zvonko and Marija are truly the kindest hosts you could wish for ! The outdoor area is stylish and I’ve never seen a pool with such a beautiful view towards the sea . I love how luxurious it Is from the inside and we enjoyed It very much to cook every night in its big kitchen . we were more than happy with our stay and will be coming back for sure ! I can only recommend this villa to you. Puno Hvala za sve !

Wie ein Balkon zum Meer... 5/5 Stayed Apr 2019 Daniel S. Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit unseren beiden Töchtern in der Villa Yanko außerordentlich genossen. Das Haus liegt in den Berghängen oberhalb des Badeortes Tucepi am Rand des kleinen Weilers Simici. Es ist wunderschön gelegen. Nach vorne hat man nicht nur von der Terrasse, sondern auch von allen Räumen einen wunderschönen Panormablick auf das Meer. Nach allen Seiten sieht man Bäume und die Berglandschaft des Biokovo, kaum Bebauung. Das Haus ist sehr neu, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles ist sauber und appetitlich. Es gibt vier Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit eigenem Bad. Drei dieser Schlafzimmer sind in der ersten Etage und haben Panoramafenster mit Meerblick. Der Infinity-Pool (im etwas kühlen April beheizt auf ca. 23-24 Grad) lädt zum Schwimmen ein mit einem weiten spektakulären Blick aufs Meer. Die technische Ausstattung (in jedem Raum große Flat Screens) und die Küchenausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und komplett, es fehlt an nichts inklusive einer von uns gerne genutzten Outdoor-Tischtennisplatte. Das kleine gepflegte Hafenstädtchen Makarska ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto leicht erreichbar, wir empfehlen unbedingt das Restaurant Hrpina mit seiner sensationellen Küche. Man kann sehr schöne Küstenwanderungen zwischen Tucepi und Makarska unternehmen. Dubrovnik erreicht man in ca. 2 1/2 Autostunden nach Süden, Split in ca. 1 1/2 Stunden nach Norden. Die Aufzählung wäre allerdings unvollständig ohne die herzlichen und überaus hilfreichen Gastgeber zu erwähnen, die sich während unseres Aufenthaltes liebevoll um uns kümmerten und jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Wir haben gehört, dass das Haus gerade auf der Liste der 50 besten Villen am Mittelmeer der Sunday Times gelandet ist. Das wundert uns gar nicht und wir können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Our stay at the Yanko Villa was extraordinary. Maria and her husband are amazing hosts and made us feel at home right from the start. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, stylish and well located. We stayed in Tucepi as a base for visits to Brela, Makarska and split. It is also greatly located if you want to visit the islands of brac and hvar. Ferries run from Makarska and you can do island daily visits from there without the hype and inconveniences of staying on the islands. Highly recommend their place.

Reviewed December 29, 2018 Luxurious getaway Villa Yanko is perfect, we spent a week there for our summer family getaway. The villa was nothing short of 5 star, great lodging, location and service. The pool perfect for our large group and there was a nice playground in the back yard for our two year old daughter and seven year old niece. The living area was ideal for our family getting together for dinners and lunches be it prepared by ourselves or ordering in. We really got to spend quality time in a quality place! The villa is also well located , a quick drive down to the town of tucepi or if you are like me and my wife we enjoyed our run down the hill and back up to begin our day. Date of stay: July 2018

First...the hosts are amazing. They genuinely want your stay to be perfect and are always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The house is immaculate and well equipped. It was almost difficult to leave the property to explore because it was so relaxing. Sitting by the pool watching the sunset is about as good as it gets. The house provides the ultimate privacy for each guest and has comfortable areas to eat, read, cook and enjoy the sun. We loved being away from the busy town of Makarska in the much less crowded Tučepi. We did an all day private boat trip and ate at the delicious Konoba Ranc which is only minutes from Villa Yanko. This is a beautiful area of Croatia and Villa Yanko has everything you could possibly want in an accommodation.

Maria’s villa is stunning! The pool, breathtaking view, and clean modern design (with air conditioning in every room!) made Villa Yanko the perfect place to vacation. We found that the kitchen was well appointed for cooking, but there are many delicious options for dining in town as well. Maria and her husband were always available if needed and were excellent hosts. We would definitely return or recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location is peaceful, with mountains behind and a glorious sea view to the front, yet it is close to amenities and the beach. It has been beautifully designed and is equipped to extremely high standards. The kitchen, bathrooms and furnishings (including large, comfortable beds) are all of high quality and the owners, Marija and Zonko, have thought of everything to make this a truly wonderful home.

Über eine kurvige Strasse ist die Villa Yanko zu erreichen. Zu allererst fällt der grandiose Blick über das Meer auf. Das moderne Haus mit viel Glas ist von der Beschreibung her wahrheitsgetreu und die Bilder werden vor Ort noch übertroffen. Wir waren 2 Familien mit je 2 Kindern und vom Platz war es ideal. Dank des sehr schönen Pools, diversen Ausflügen, Tennis und Mountainbiketouren verging unser Urlaub wie im Flug. Die Ruhe auf dem Berg ist sensationell. Der nächste Strand ist vom Haus aus zu sehen und die grösseren Supermärkte alle in 10 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Liebe Marija, lieber Svonko, Ihr seid tolle Gastgeber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei Euch. Wir haben wundervolle 12 Tage in Eurem schönen Haus verbracht. Der Urlaub war genau so , wie wir ihn uns vorgestellt haben. Herzlichen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Our stay in Villa Yanko was SUPERB! The house is amazing, very good decoration and super clean. Zevoko and his wife were great hosts, always ready to give us a hand when we needed. The view from the balcony is probably one of the most breathtaking views you're ever going to experience in your life. Totally reccomend it! You won't be disappointed!
