Overview
The Tui Apartment (named after the NZ bird as we have come from New Zealand in 2018) has its own terrace and have either a queensize bed (160x200). The kitchen are fully equipped with everything one needs. A nespresso machine and/or filter coffee machine is available.
All towels are provided (bath and beach towels). There is a sofa bed in the lounge (big double size) which is perfect for a 3rd adult or 2 children. We do not advise to book the apartment for 4 adults even though the units are not small (45m3). All units are airconditioned. If guests do book for 4 adults be aware that it will affect the comfort of the apartment.
The Tui has views from all the windows over the Adriatic and the pool.
We are not advising a stay with children under 7 as the pool is not fully fenced and we have stairs.
There are several restaurants and coffee bars and our locat 2 beautiful beaches have bars which also serve food.
Over the busy summer season one will still find a spot on our (pebble) beaches (we also provide mats).
It is approx 10 min to walk to the beach and approx 15 min back to our property.
A supermarket w bakery and coffeebar is just down the road at about 8 min walk. The Cavori Dvori Fish restaurant is barely a 3 minute walk.
There are many beaches between Mimice and the bigger town of Omis which has lots of activities and history to offer. We can help with bookings for canyoning, zip-lining, river rafting or boattrips to the islands. Split is barely an hour away which can be explored

We are Steve and Hermien and we have been in Croatia since December 2018 We came to Europe from New Zealand to be closer to Hermien's family who live in Holland. The decision was made to start an accommodation business (Hermien has lots of previous hospitality experience) and with Steve's knowledge of "fixing" things after a while we found our niche in Mimice, Croatia. Our accommodation is situated in one of the most beautiful old stone houses in Mimice We absolutely love Croatia and are very thankful to end up here. We have 3 apartments on the property which is about 650m2 in seize. Two of the apartments are in the old house and we have 1 standalone apartment. All apartments have their own seating area and all are about 45m2 in seize. A pool with loungers and garden spaces around the property makes our home a perfect holiday experience. We also have 1 carpark under our carport up the top per apartment. We live on the property and are able to be of assistance when needed. It is absolutely beautiful here (and everywhere else in Croatia) but Dalmatia is special with the blue Adriatic Sea and the backdrop of the Dinara mountains with Biokovo Mountain not far away. We overlook the island of Brac which can be visited by ferry or taking the local fishpicnick boat which goes regularly every week of the season. We have several bigger and smaller towns around us (Omis, Brela, Makarska and Split which is about 1 hour drive away). The local beaches are about 10 min walk away and many beaches are available within a very short distance driving. The local beaches are some of the nicest around the area. Mimice has 4 restaurants, a few beachbars and coffeebars. There is a local supermarket/vegestand, touristbureau, postoffice and a specialty shop with all one needs for the beach, wines and local liquor. In the off season months there are plenty options for mountain climbing (lots of set out tracks), walking tracks and it is a very quiet place in winter.
