I would highly recommend the place. Very nice apartment to end our stay on the island of Sal in Cape Verde. It is well located right next to the beach and easy to walk to the lively part of the city centre. It is large, bright, very functional and its balcony is a real plus for taking all meals, with a view of the residence's pool. We also really enjoyed the ceiling fans in each room, as it was very hot at this time. A big thank you to our host Roger, who was always very responsive and who facilitated the organisation of our stay by managing our transfers from the airport and communicating all the useful information and addresses on Santa Maria. Il est grand, lumineux, très fonctionnel et son balcon est un vrai plus pour prendre tous les repas, avec une vue sur la piscine de la résidence. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les ventilateurs au plafond dans chaque pièce, comme il faisait très chaud à cette période. Un grand merci à notre hôte Roger toujours très réactif et qui a facilité l'organisation de notre séjour en gérant nos transferts depuis l'aéroport et nous communiquant toutes les infos et adresses utiles sur Santa Maria. Je recommande vivement le lieu.

We recommend the apartment The apartment is like in the photos, the pool even better than in the photos, it's bigger than it looks in the photos. It is a very quiet development as it is a bit away from the center, which is appreciated for resting. It has a nice walk along the beach to the centre, 15 minutes on foot. Roger is very attentive to everything and responds to all messages right away. We had a small problem with the reservation and it was fixed immediately. He was flexible about leaving the house, which is greatly appreciated. We recommend the apartment. Highly recommend Great communication, apartment as described with a lovely view of the pool. Taxi arranged from the airport and keys ready at reception on arrival. Everything you might need in the apartment, even an air fryer! For a lovely breeze through the apartment, recommend opening the bedroom windows and balcony door (all have mosquito nets on) Santa Maria beach just across the road, approx 5-10 min walk depending on what part of the beach you want to be on. 10 mins to walk into Santa Maria main strip, lovely walk down the beach boardwalk. Small supermarket few mins walk away, had everything you might need and lovely fresh rolls for lunch on the beach. Had an amazing holiday and if we come back to Sal, will definitely be looking to stay here again. Highly recommend.

The apartment at Tropical was beautifully clean and well equipped. My bed was comfortable and I slept well as it was quiet. The terrace has a great view over the lovely gardens and pool and was sheltered. This was a good thing as it was windy. Only 2 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants and shops within easy reach. I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful Beautiful, well equipped, spacious, super-clean apartment. Great location less than ten minutes from the beach. Particularly loved chilling out on the balcony overlooking the pool area and well tended surrounding gardens. Great to have use of the washing machine too.

I would recommend this place The apartment matches the photos and everything was fine. The only downside would be the curtains that are not opaque and allow natural light to enter the rooms very early. There are no curtains in the living room either. The apartment was clean and the communication with Roger and Djussa was perfect. The area is very quiet and relaxing for families, it's fine. I would recommend this place if you are staying in Sal.

Other positives: spacious rooms, cleanliness, washing machine and cooking utensils. The host was very present and supportive both before departure and during the stay, providing useful and timely information. Il balcone è perfetto per fare colazione o rilassarsi al termine di una giornata di mare. La posizione permette sia di riposare benissimo (l'appartamento non affaccia sulla strada principale) che di raggiungere la spiaggia in 5 minuti. Vicinissimi markets, servizi vari, ristoranti, locali. Altri aspetti positivi: camere spaziose, pulizia, lavatrice e utensili da cucina. L'host è stato molto presente e di supporto sia prima della partenza che durante il soggiorno, fornendo info utili e tempestive.

Ideal for us It was a very nice time on Sal. The apartment had everything we were looking for and very well maintained. In the beginning, the wifi was a little jerky. It is quietly located on the outskirts but is within walking distance of the beach 5 minutes and into the city (beautiful along the beach) in 15 minutes. Around the corner is a small supermarket and a bar. The communal pool was little visited and very well maintained. In general, the whole facility is very clean and nicely laid out. Roger was always available via Whats App and very helpful with good tips. A security service, which is on site day and night, gives you a good feeling again. Although we didn't feel it was necessary. Ideal for us (family with two children (14+17)).
