Welcome To The Villa Breeze
New for 2008. Our Five bedroom luxurious villa set over Four stories, with a private fresh water swimming pool and marble flooring throughout, situated within easy walking distance of the heart of Kalkan and its many facilities such as Supermarkets, Bars, Restaurants etc .Kalkan is located on the Mediterranean coast line of Turkey so benifits from sun shine nearly all year round, the villa also has the added benefit of exquisite sea & mountain views.
The bedrooms are set up as follows:
Bedroom 1: King size double bed, en-suite walk in wet room, air-conditioned, with bay window.
Bedroom 2: Two large single beds, air-conditioned.
Bedroom 3: King size double bed, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioned, private balcony with sea & mountain views.
Bedroom 4: King size double bed, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioned, private balcony with sea & mountain views.
Bedroom 5: One large single bed, air-conditioned, en-suite bathroom, private balcony with sea & mountain views.
All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard most with chest of draws, wardrobes and yes we have included hair dryers so dont worry about packing them ladies, king size beds are far bigger than the UK equivalent, all mattresses are of the orthopaedic type.
Their is also the facility of catering for a further two guests occupying the living room area via the sofa bed (if required). The villa can easily sleep between nine and eleven guests in total comfort and style.
Rooms and Facilities.
Kitchen with gas cooker & hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle. toaster etc, youll find the kitchen equipped to a high standard.
Games room with professional sized pool table.
Laundry room with ironing board, iron, washing machine and a floor mounted security safe.
Extra toilets on the ground and lower levels.
The villa also benefits from a magnificent marble staircase spiralling through the middle of the property,
Living room with open fireplace, three seat settee and two arm chairs, settee converts into a double bed, coffee table, 42" Plasma (wall mounted) TV, DVD/CD player ( in excess of 60 DVDs are available for your use), Satellite TV with European channels as well as WIFI internet access.
Large dinning room with table and eight chairs.
All rooms are tastefully decorated to a extremely high standard.
Private pool measurring 52.5m2 with both tiled and metal entrance steps, along with a seating shelf within the pool for when you fancy a semi submerged cocktail or two, a pool side shower, eight wooden sun loungers surround the pool side all with with lounger cushions, side tables and accompanying umbrellas.
Their is a Marble patio area outside with a breakfast table and eight chairs, to the side of the patio area is a brick built BBQ making cooking a breeze.
The villa boasts a beautiful garden with various types of tropical plants including a very nice banana tree, we believe!
There are ornate iron gates at the entrance to the villa there are three off street car parking spaces available within the villa. There are also iron gates at the side entrances that make the villa child friendly and secure, within the villa there is an electronic safe, and the villa itself is fitted with a security system for added peace of mind, but please be reasurred this is a village location and crime is not heard of in Kalkan.
When you are considering what you need to take away with you please dont worry about food or drink on your arrival as we supply a complimentary welcome pack for our guests, just one less thing to worry about, we want your stay to be relaxed and as carefree as possible.
Please note smoking is not permitted inside our villa this is in consideration of our other guests, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors have been installed for your protection.

An Insight Into Kalkan
Good dining is a way of life in Kalkan, whether in the locantas among the locals where a meal costs a few pounds or by candlelight in the atmospheric harbour side restaurants or the romantic roof terrace restaurants for which Kalkan is renowned. Alternatively you can take a short trip into the hills and the pretty village of Ismalar with its trickling streams and springs and enjoy a dish of locally caught fresh trout traditionally cooked in olive oil.
Kalkan has an array of sophisticated antique shops, fashion boutiques, art galleries, jewellers, hand painted chinaware shops along with traditional souvenir outlets. Authentic hand woven Turkish rugs and carpets are also widely sold. Shopping in Kalkan should never be rushed and your host whilst browsing will inevitably offer you a glass of traditional Turquish tea. The maze of cobbled lanes that wind their way down to the harbour are perfectly complimented by bougainvillea-clad pensions, shops and restaurants.
If you plan to self cater there are plenty of supermarkets in Kalkan from which to purchase food and consumables and many will deliver to the villa. There is an excellent fish market butchers and stalls selling locally produced fruit and vegetables at a low price. There is a Thursday market selling a wide range of goods, from locally produced fruit and spices, to jewellery, leatherwear, souvenirs to clothes with fake designer labels.
A variety of Gullet cruises are available from Kalkans cosmopolitan harbour and will often include a visit to Kaputas beach, Mouse Island, Snake Island (just the shape of the islands, not their inhabitants) and the Blue Caves to name but a few destinations, you can go swimming, snorkelling by the coral wreaths and even participate in a mud bath. The cost is approximately £10 per person for a party of ten and lunch is normally provided for within that cost, and the ship is at your sole disposal all day.
Kalkan also offers massage, manicure parlours and Turkish Baths a great experience if you have never tried one before all at very reasonable rates.
We would recommend exchanging currency locally rather than in the UK, you will find a better exchange rate locally within the town of Kalkan many Banks and Post Offices.
We have produced a guidebook to Kalkan and the various nearby attractions and recommended places to visit, so please do not be concerned you will arrive at Villa Breeze and will have no representative to guide you around. We have tried to think of all the small important things that will make your holiday a memorable one. You will find this book at the villa so please feel free to browse through at your leisure. We also have a good friend of ours (Albay) who manages our villa and who also runs a local restaurant in town called the Breeze, he is always available via the villa mobile if you need help or guidance, just to reassure you his English is excellent and so dont be concerned about communication issues.

Hints & Recommendations
We would recommend hiring a car whilst you stay at our villa, the cost of hiring a normal family sized car is very reasonable approximately £20 per day including insurance, We can arrange for a hire car to be delivered to the villa and it makes getting about much easier, or alternatively you could use the local taxis they again are very reasonable and their are plenty available in town.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance for your visit to Turkey, you may find your family are already covered under your household insurance, but please confirm this with your insurance company before travelling.
The nearest airport to Kalkan is Dalaman, it takes around about an hour and half from the airport to Kalkan via taxi or a minibus, transport costs are very reasonable in Turkey and can easily be arranged either by yourselves or by us prior to travel, please see below for further details.
Flights to Dalaman are plentiful in supply and it only takes around about three and half hours from Gatwick on average, but it pays to book your flights early as a rule of thumb, please find below a list of airlines you may wish to consider booking with.

The pool was just the right depth for weak and strong swimmers alike. A large fridge and wifi and dvds available to amuse any taste. Beautiful views and relaxing was achieved 2 minutes after arrival!!!
