When you arrive at the villa, the views, location, pool and plot size have the “wow” factor – that is what made us choose this property as our Spanish home originally. There is a mountain behind the property, which can be accessed by a path beyond the boundary of the plot and is used by occasional walkers and cyclists. There are lovely views across the countryside, which has vineyards growing Christmas grapes (you will notice white bags to avoid the grape drying out in the sun), almond trees and olives. Of an evening, whilst sat on the terrace you can see the lights of the town. During the numerous fiestas, it is a good viewing point for watching the fireworks in the distance.
The villa and pool are south facing and benefit from the sun all day, whereas the kitchen is north facing (at the back of the property), to keep it cool.
The 10m x 5m private pool has roman steps and a handrail at the shallow end, with a ladder at the deep end. It is surrounded by a fully enclosed balustrade area (with lockable gate) making it child friendly, and has non slip terracing with floor covering especially chosen to keep cool under foot during the hot summer months. Of an evening, the lights around the pool terrace can be switched on to create an enchanting atmosphere. Currently, the garden has some olive trees, a peach tree and some heathers and wild grasses, but the garden will not be landscaped fully until Dec 06. Behind the property are many small pine trees which have been planted on the protected park land, by the Town Council.
Apart from the kitchen, there are ceiling fans in each room, and there are ample towels and bedding available for your use.
In the kitchen, there is an electric juicer, slow cooker, plastic ware (cups, plates, knives and forks) to use outside, as well as cool bags.
Outside, there are sun loungers, a sun lounger swing and wooden table and chairs situated on the terrace.
During the winter evenings, there is a woodburning fire enclosed with a glass door, this gives a maximum of 14kw of heat (with electric fan) which heats the entire villa. However, for additional comfort, there are 3 oil filled radiators which can be used as and when required.
Young Children - Travel cot (bedding available FOC) in addition to the accomodation for 6, "buggie" with sun parasol, Flask to keep bottles warm, potty, little tykes "see-saw", childrens table and chairs, toy pram, small bike and toy kitchen.
Price Includes - Price is fully inclusive of use of DVD's (and player), CD's, pool/beach towels, welcome pack, cleaning of villa at the end of your holiday, any assistance from English Speaking contact resident in Spain (if needed), pool toys.
The villa benefits from window grills and shutters. There are pool towels supplied for your use, and a selection of inflatables for use in the pool. There is a large selection of both CD's and DVD's for your use during your stay, as well as some books to read whilst you relax at the property. A complimentary welcome pack will be provided for the start of your holiday. The swimming pool is professionally cleaned and serviced on a regular basis. There are binoculars, maps and tourist guides for the area available to help you make the most of your stay. There is parking for 6 or more cars next to the house for your convenience, inside the boundary fence.
