Two bedroom, first floor apartment, with parking. Beautifully furnished throughout, comfortably accommodating up to four people. Well equipped to provide a fabulously relaxing holiday and ideally situated, as the name suggests, for beach (playa) or golf, with the large gated, private but communal pool with landscaped grassed areas, just a few steps from your door! Location Playa Golf, in Dehesa de Campoamor, is newly developed and around 6 miles south of Torrevieja, just 2 minutes off the N332 Coastal Road.
Other local towns of particular note to the south are Murcia which is around a 20 minute drive from the apartment and is a fine town with shops, squares (placas) with Grecian and Roman historical links coupled with fantastic buildings such as Cathedral de Santa Maria; the Baroque Cathedral; the Almudi Palace and the castle of Monteagudo; Orihuela, around 53kms from Campoamor and famous for its palm tree forest amongst other historical landmarks and with great shops and tree-lined squares to sit and enjoy the views whilst sipping a cooling drink; Cartagena which is a walled port town of major historical importance, with a fine harbour defended by forts. To the north, Alicante is itself not only the main airport link from the UK but also has a great harbour, many beaches, a leafy palm-lined esplanade and the historical Castle of Santa Barbara. Further north is the well known town of Benidorm, where Spanish package holidays first began back in the 60's but which is now becoming more popular with the Spanish themselves as a holiday destination. You will also find Spain's largest theme park, Terra Mittica, housing its largest attraction, Tizona - an inverted roller-coaster which reaches speeds of 62mph (100kph) and heights of more than 100ft (32m) with riders suspended beneath the track! The Property is fully tiled throughout and consists of: A lounge/dining room with Italian leather couches and modern contemporary solid wood/granite furniture. Ceiling fans are fitted for your comfort. Electrical equipment includes: Stereo TV with English Satellite TV/radio stations; DVD player; CD/MP3/radio/tape player. A spacious master bedroom with a Queen sized English bed, bedside cabinets and large built-in wardrobes, providing ample storage space. A ceiling fan is fitted to maintain cooling air throughout the property. The twin room is furnished with solid oak, English twin beds and an oak veneered bedside chest. Again with large built-in wardrobes and ceiling fan. The bathroom has a bath (shower over); toilet, bidet and washbasin. Modern glass fronted cabinets provide plentiful hidden storage for toiletries etc. The kitchen is well equipped with oven/hob/extractor; fridge/freezer; microwave; kettle and toaster and all those items you would expect to find in your own home. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided complimentary. The utility area, off the kitchen, houses the water heater; well specified washing machine (powders/conditioner complimentary) and butler sink, so useful for washing off beach shoes or rinsing out swimming costumes.
The large balcony is accessed from patio doors in the lounge and overlooks the large communal gated pool, only accessed by residents/visitors. The pool is surrounded by well maintained gardens/grass, with showers. Patio furniture and loungers are supplied for your convenience. Security The property has traditional Spanish ironwork 'grills' and is fully alarmed. Domestic Arrangements All linen, except beach towels, are included in the rental price. The apartment is cleaned before and after your visit. A cleaning charge of 40Euro is payable on arrival, to our agent. All beds are provided with a choice of synthetic duvet or bedspread. An iron/ironing board and clothes drier are also provided for your use. A fan heater is available, should the weather be temporarily in-clement.
