Cyprus History

Hello,

this is John and Carol and welcome to Paradise Gardens III in Paphos on the beautiful West coast of Cyprus

This stunning complex has already made quite a name for itself with other British tourists like yourself, so much so that many have decided to make it their permanent home

Did you know that Paradise Gardens III was awarded the coveted Four Star Bentley International Homes Award for Best Cypriot Development in 2004?

Our spacious 2 bedroom apartment will easily and comfortably sleep 6 and is ideally located just 15 minutes from Paphos airport, the beaches, picturesque harbour and UNESCO archeological sites and just 5 minutes from bustling shops, bars, restaurants and traditional Greek Tavernas, but far enough away so you are not disturbed by the noise

Expensively furnished with maximum comfort in mind it has every convenience to save you valuable holiday time and money

Both bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning, cool enough to ensure a blissful nights sleep however hot it gets (and it does get hot!)

The kitchen has everything from 4 hob cooker, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, breakfast bar, juicer... enough even for the most demanding of chefs, for a tasty snack or spicing up your stay with a deliciously healthy Mediterranean style meal

The living area has luxurious suites, TV and DVD for movies or audio, enough for a relaxing get-together with the family for some quality time

The covered balcony overlooking the communal pool is perfect for cooling down and enjoying al-fresco meals

Most people pefer to holiday in a private apartment now rather than a hotel so they can totally relax and unwind in a 'home from home'. Plus there is the additional freedom and  privacy and having a fully equipped kitchen means it is easier, more convenient and economical to stay in and eat

The local area boasts pubs, clubs, tavernas and restaurants galore as well as cycling, horse-riding, go-karting, hiking and a water-park. There are English-language cinemas in the town and concerts are held in front of the mediaeval fort and at the ancient Odeon. Paphos also has a number of fascinating museums and UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit

There are 3 championship 18 hole golf courses (par around 71/72) within easy reach. Tsada Golf club is 20 minutes drive from Paphos, Secret Valley golf course is about 20km east of Paphos and there is a new 5 start course, Aphrodite Hills slightly further on

There are several excellent wineries in the area that can be visited for free wine-tasting. Many spectacular monasteries and churches are accessible from Paphos, as are the Birthplace of Aphrodite, Aphrodite's Baths, Adonis Falls, reservoirs and mountain forests

There is skiing and snowboarding from January to March on Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, about 2 hrs drive from Paphos. If you are hardy, you can ski in the morning and swim in the sea on the afternoon!
