Set in the heart of Champagne-Ardenne countryside 5 minutes from Sainte Menehould, the bith place of Dom Perignon, (the monk who invented the Champagne "method") between Chalons en Champagne and the historic town of Verdun, you will find the imposing Manoir De Maffrecourt.
Built in 1830 and steeped in history the manoir has enjoyed a colourful past surviving the French Revolution, two world wars, German occupation and a tornado. The gardens too have their own history amongst the fruit trees and ancient grape vines first planted by local monks.
