A self contained fully furnished cabana built in 2006 owned and run by Wes & Jenny, a British couple. We started to build the house in 2004 and finished in 2007.Now we look forward to inviting guests to Sri Lanka.We are onhand during your stay to give you advise, recommend tours and to give you the benefit of our knowledge. The cabana is in a tranquil tropical village setting and can accommodate up to 3 people.

CABANA
Self contained cabana built 2006 only feet away from a large private swimming pool. Built to a very high spec. it offers large living/sleeping accomodation for up to three people with one double and one single foldaway beds. Fully tiled en-suite bathroom with shower and hot water facilities. Small kitchenette allows for tea/coffee and toast making facilities and fridge for the beers! (Here you need only to ask the owners for Lunch or Dinner and they will happily provide a home cooked meal for you). 240 volt electric power points compatible for modern appliances. The property is set in a privately owned large garden where the main house is to the front of the land and the cabana at the rear in the mature landscaped garden with coconut and palm trees, numerous varieties of tropical fruit trees and with your own area for sun bathing.
Location Gonnapinuwala village is just 6km inland from busy Hikkaduwa town centre. With its slow, laidback pace its an ideal base to relax, soak up the sun and then wander down to Hikkaduwa for some nightlife..! Appx. 10 minutes walk into the village which has a well stocked "super market", post office, wine shop, hospital, police station and two or three local restaurants.
GENERAL Entertainment :- Available on request video, dvd, games, music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only. Eating & Living :- To prepare food you will find a fridge, a kettle, a toaster with cutlery and glassware. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board available on request. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. This is a non-smoking room/studio - smoking is allowed outside of the cabana. General :- The room/studio is in a very quiet area with jungle view. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting. Less than 15 minutes drive away to the beach, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, cycling, scuba diving, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant. Less than 30 minutes drive away to Galle Fort and also, you will find a museum.
