Lovely house, with wonderful views.
Owner very accommodating and friendly.
1 shower for 4 bedrooms may be a problem, but was ok for us
The house is better than the photos and description.
I would definitely stay here again

We read a review saying that the pictures on the internet did not do it justice and we agree. It was an amazing property and we enjoyed the surrounding little towns as they were easy to get to, had lots of character and the people were very friendly. We enjoyed meeting the owner as well and hearing about the heritage of the cottage.

A fabulous property in a gorgeous location - especially if the sun shines! The quality of the fixtures was excellent. The one slight downside was that the bathroom is in need of a revamp (although clean and perfectly usable) a bigger shower cubicle and the addition of a bath would be a bonus. The single bathroom is also a constraint if more than 3-4 people are staying. The owner - Pat - couldnt have been more helpful. He travelled to Cork to buy a baby bath for us to use :-) We would definetly recommend the property.

we had a fabulous time and have a young family of 5 - the oldest being 11. Although the beach may be a little dangerous for swimming. if its a relaxing holiday your after you will love it. many thanks to Pat for the high standard received in the accomodation. the locals are very friendly and very accomodating. we felt very welcome indeed.

The fabric of the property, the fixtures and furnishings were all of a high standard and presented many interesting features.
The house was presented warm and very clean.
The location is virtually unique with super views through 360degrees.
The central heating maintained a more than adequate temperature despite the bitter cold February East wind. This was supplemented by the massive wood burning stove which was fueled throughout the week with drift-wood from the adjacent beach. The collection of the wood was in itself an interesting task. (We will bring axe and saw next time!).
Overall a very enjoyable stay which we hope to repeat.

First Class in every way, the accomodation was comfortable, well equipt, warm and homely.
The location has to be a unique position and I will be recommending this for anyone and everyone who wants to visit Ireland.
We had a most enjoyable stay and we were fortunate to meet the owners Daughter who on finding that we were out of coal went and collected some to return the same evening.

Beautifully maintained century cottage to use a base for seeing south-east Ireland. Could easily be my own home. Should bring your own telephone.
Would return in a heartbeat. The directions to cottage were clear and easily followed. Youghal is a lovely seaport town.
