Fantastic place, we were a 7 adult family group. There was something for all of us, walking, boating, kayak, animals. The property was beyond our expectations. At the arrival gateway, I thought we had made a mistake, so grand! We stayed in « The Stables » completely restored to a high level large lounge with dining and large well equipped kitchen. 4 bedrooms all en suite with shower and wc for each room. Just great🤩

Once again we had a fabulous stay in Mount Cashel. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children and the accommodation was more than adequate for space. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the lake and canoes and enjoyed some fishing. Excellent location / base for our day trips around claire. We weren't more than an hour from most locations. Pat was more than accommodating and the property was comfortable and spotless. We had full use of the grounds and the dogs and donkeys were great company for the kids. Our 4th time to stay here and it won't be the last. Thank you so much Pat . See you soon.

We stayed at the Stables for 2 weeks with three generations of family for a much needed break. Our original plan had been to use it as a base for exploring County Clare but we honestly didn't leave the grounds for the first week as the draw of the lake for swimming and canoeing. There is a huge selection of life vests to make sure everyone is safe. Anytime we had an issue crop up the owners were quick to get everything sorted and definitely a benefit to them being close at hand. The kids loved spending time with the dogs as well as visiting the donkeys. They didn't want to come home even after a 2 week stay and are already asking when we can return. The living space is a wonderful size with lots of seating as well as a large dining table for larger groups. The kitchen is well equipped with tons of crockery, mugs, glasses, as well as pots and pans. There is a parasol on the patio table outside so in sunny weather you can sit outside in the shade and have a breeze as you overlook the lake without a house to be seen and absolute peace and quiet.

Thank you for your kind review Lucy. It was our pleasure hosting you and your family and delighted that you enjoyed the lake and the company of our animals. Annette and Pat

This is a perfect location for a multigenerational holiday. Members of our family from three generations enjoyed the stay, ranging in age from 24 to 91 and with visits from grandchildren as young as 10. We really appreciated the disabled accessibility of the house and the owners' gracious willingness to accommodate our rental of a hospital bed. And that's ever before mentioning the magical beauty of the lake and grounds!

"Peace and quiet in a picturesque converted carriage house located in landscaped grounds at Mount Cashel - about a mile from the village of Six Mile Bridge. We went for walks by the lake, sat by the fire in the evening and recovered our serentity in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Toured the Burren, shopped in Shannon and Limerick, local pubs some evenings - but mainly relaxed in a lazy, no pressure environment."

"Brilliant. An absolutely beautiful place with great people. I particularly enjoyed splashing around in a canoe on the lake with my mate Mac the dog in toe. Had a great time, hope to go back some time. :0)"
